WINDSOR - Ronald E. Gilbertson, age 72, of Windsor, Wisconsin, formerly of Cedarville, Illinois, passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2011. He was born May 29, 1938 in Argyle, WI, the son of Norman and Esther Gilbertson.

Ronald graduated from Monroe High School in 1956. Earned his Master of Science in Education in 1976 from the Northern Illinois University, Specializing in reading and language arts. He taught elementary education for 30 years, and retired in 1993.

Ronald is survived by his brothers, James Gilbertson (Sandra) Deerfield, Wis., David Gilbertson (Lois) Stoughton, Wis., and Dennis Gilbertson (special friend, Debra Peitz), Windsor, Wis. and brother-in-law William Walters, Verona, WI.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Geraldine Walters.

Memorial Services are being held at Grace Lutheran Church, Monroe, WI, Saturday, February 19, 2011. Family and friends are asked to come for a memorial gathering from 9-11 AM. The service will be held at 11:00AM and a luncheon will follow.

Cremation is being officiated by All Faiths Funeral and Cremation Services, Madison, Wisconsin. Cremated remains will be held until May with a graveside service at Greenwood Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings will be appreciated.
