ALBANY - Robert "Bob" L. McCullick, age 85 of Albany, died peacefully on Sunday, May 7, 2017 at home. Bob was born on February 29, 1932 in Bell Center, WI, the son of Ole and Eva (Anderson) McCullick. Bob and Jeanette McDermott were united in marriage on September 3, 1955 at St. James Catholic Church in Dayton, Wisconsin. Together they had six children. Bob attended Wauzeka high school. He served in the U.S. Army from 1953-1955 during the Korean War. He was a member of the McDermott-Steindorf Post 144 in Albany, WI. Bob was an avid card player, loved to hunt and fish and spent many hours in the woods and on the water fishing with his children, grandchildren and friends. There were always lots of stories to share and laugh about. He loved his garden and enjoyed sharing the harvest with family, friends and the food pantry. Bob is survived by his wife Jeanette of Albany, children: Deanna Elmer of Evansville, Shawn (Sara) McCullick of Stanley, Kirk (Terri) McCullick of Hudson IL, Gay (Gary) O'Connell of Neenah, Corrine (John) O'Brien of Eastman, seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. Brothers Greg (Pat) McCullick of Steuben, Roger McCullick of Blue River and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, mother and father in-law, daughter Shari, grandson Cody, three younger brothers Dale, Gordon and Ted McCullick and sister in laws Ardys, Linda, Martha and Pat McCullick. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday May 13, 2017 at Ward-Hurtley Funeral Home Evansville with reverend Michael Moon of St. Francis of Assisi officiating. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery Belleville Wi. with Military Honors provided by American Legion Post 84 Albany WI.
