Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Brett S.L. Shepherd, 21, Benton, was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct following a report of domestic disturbance at 10:25 a.m. Friday, Sept. 20 on Main Street in the Village of Benton. Shepherd was released.

• Edgar I. Ramirez, 19, Platteville, was arrested for possessing THC and possessing drug paraphernalia at 9:22 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 22 following a traffic stop on Wis. 11 in Gratiot Township. Ramirez was released.

• A deputy responded to County G in Belmont Township at 7:07 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 21 for a report of criminal damage to property. Reports indicate that several crops were damaged. The incident remains under investigation.

• A deputy responded to County W in Benton Township at 11:08 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21 for a traffic complaint of a vehicle parked along the road that was believed to be a traffic hazard. When the deputy arrived, the deputy advised the owner to park in a safer location.

• Camille E. Bishop, 20, Midland, Mich., was cited for underage alcohol drinking at 11:36 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21 on County Y in Wiota Township.

• Kevin M. Kegarise, 36, Aurora, Ill., was cited for speeding at 1:32 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 22 following a traffic stop on Wis. 23 in Darlington Township.

• A deputy took a report of a stolen vehicle at 6:47 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 22. The vehicle was stolen sometime in the early morning hours from a residence on Wis. 78 in Blanchard Township. The vehicle was located in the late evening hours in Green County. The incident remains under investigation.

On Monday, Sept. 23:

• Michael J. Meylor, 42, Belmont, was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign at 9:33 a.m. on Wis. 81 in Darlington Township.

• Criminal damage to property was reported at 11:19 a.m. on Leahy Road in Shullsburg Township.

• Criminal damage to a mailbox was reported at 1:40 p.m. on Hein Road in Belmont Township.

• Criminal damage to a vehicle was reported at 2:35 p.m. on East Grove Street in South Wayne.

• An animal bite was reported at 4:05 p.m. on County N in Blanchard Township.

• An erratic driver was reported at 5:05 p.m. on Galena Street in Darlington. The vehicle was not located.



Brodhead Police

BRODHEAD - Mary B. Tracy, 47, Adolphus, Ky., was cited Friday, Sept. 20, for issuing worthless checks.



Darlington Police

DARLINGTON - Alejandro Jimenez-Gonzales, 29, South Wayne, was arrested on a first-offense charge of driving while intoxicated, with an additional penalty for having a child in the car, after police stopped him on Washington Street for speeding at about 2:05 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 22. He was also cited for speeding 16 to 19 mph above the limit and driving without a valid license. He posted bond and was released pending court.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Nathan R. M. Sweet, 21, Beloit, was cited for driving with a revoked license in the N7000 block of Wisconsin 104 in Albany Township at 4:39 p.m. Monday, Sept. 23.
