Albany Police

ALBANY - Joseph P. Mathias, 52, Stoughton, was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct on Friday, Sept. 20.



Brodhead Police

BRODHEAD - Joseph F. Brager, 18, Brodhead, was arrested for domestic battery and domestic disorderly conduct at 11:13 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 15 in the 1300 block of 13th Street.

• Dillion J. Woollums, 20, Brodhead, was cited for unnecessary noise and parking a vehicle with motor running at 4:22 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 15 in the 900 block of W. Exchange Street.

• Tyler N. Tipplet, 26, Brodhead, was cited for loud and unnecessary noise at 4:45 a.m. Monday, Sept. 16 in the 900 block of E. 3rd Avenue.

• Kimberly M. Moore, 29, Brodhead, was cited for issuing worthless checks on Tuesday, Sept. 17.

n Benjamin D. Dodd, 19, Brodhead, was cited for defective tail lamps on Tuesday, Sept. 17 stemming from a traffic stop on Aug. 18.

• Joshua J. Brzenzinski, 29, Brodhead, was cited for possessing THC at 3:10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 20. He was released.

• Robert L. Chadwick, 40, Lake Mills, was cited for driving a vehicle without insurance at 7:31 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21 in the 100 block of 1st Street.



Darlington Police

DARLINGTON - Heriberto A. Mendez, 26, Shullsburg, was arrested at about 5:20 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21 for a second offense of driving a motor vehicle without a valid Wisconsin driver's license and for a warrant through Lafayette County, following a traffic stop on Minerva Street. Mendez was also cited for failing to stop at a stop sign and for failing to have motor vehicle insurance. He was released pending court.

• Lourdes Cardona-Salgado, 24, Darlington, was cited for driving a vehicle without a valid Wisconsin driver's license at about 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 22, following a traffic complaint on Louisa Street.



Monroe Police

MONROE - Brandon L. Howell, 19, Freeport, was arrested for a first offense of driving while intoxicated at 8:41 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21 in the 2100 block of Wisconsin 69. Howell was also cited for failing to maintain control, having open intoxicants in the vehicle and possessing drug paraphernalia. He was released.



New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - Chad A. Schneider, 41, New Glarus, was arrested on disorderly conduct, battery and felony bail jumping following a possible domestic incident call at 2:48 a.m. Monday, Sept. 16 in the 300 block of Elmer Road. Schneider was transported to the Green County jail.

• William J. Buford, 34, New Glarus, was cited for driving a vehicle with no insurance at 6:55 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 15 on Wis. 69 and 11th Avenue.

• Police assisted the Green County Sheriff's Department with a possible robbery at 8:38 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 15 in the Village of Monticello.

• Police assisted the Green County Sheriff's Department with a suspect trying to gain entry into a residence in the Village of Monticello at 9:04 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 15.

• Police responded to New Glarus Schools at 9:48 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17 for a student who refused to go to school. School staff, a parent and police talked with the student and the student agreed to go to school for the day.

• At 8:07 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18, police were called the 1400 block of 14th Avenue for a report of a suspicious vehicle driving around the area. The investigation continues.

• Leroy G. Grieshammer, 47, New Glarus, was cited for a seatbelt violation at 6:44 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20 on 1st Street at 6th Avenue.

• Police received a report about attempted fraud at 3:19 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21. A citizen reported that a representative from WE Energies informed them of an overdue balance and a payment could be made by a wire transfer at Walgreens or CVS. The citizen did not give out any personal information and did not lose any money.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Stanley L. Schmid, 49, Albany, was arrested for bail jumping after deputies responded to a suspicious person complaint at 11:05 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 22 in the 200 block of S. Cincinnati Street in the Village of Albany. He was jailed.
