Monroe Police

MONROE - Alexander J. Meligan, 23, Monroe, was arrested at 10:12 p.m. Saturday for driving while intoxicated in the 1200 block of 13th Avenue. Meligan was released pending court.

• Chantel M. Williams, 19, Monroe, was arrested at 2:41 p.m. Sunday for retail theft in the 400 block of West 8th Street. Williams was cited and released pending court.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - On Friday:

• Tina M. Hull, 29, Freeport, was arrested at 12:23 a.m. for domestic abuse-related disorderly conduct after deputies responded to the Monroe Police Department to talk with the victim who said the alleged dispute occurred at Sir Buks Dance Club in the W5000 block of County KK. Hull was jailed pending court.

• Lester M. Kempfer, 47, Belleville, was arrested at 4:40 p.m. on a Dane County probation and parole apprehension request after deputies responded to a residence on Klitzke Road, Town of New Glarus. Kempfer was taken into custody without incident and turned over to Dane County deputies.

• Joey P. Barnett, 17, Albany, was arrested at 5:20 p.m. for intentionally inhaling a hazardous substance after deputies received a report of a subject huffing from a compressed air canister at a residence on English Settlement Road, Town of Albany. Barnett was jailed pending court.

On Sunday:

• Deputies checked on a vehicle with its hazard lights flashing on Wisconsin 11 at Bagley Road, Town of Spring Grove, at 2:44 a.m. The driver, Griselda Laureano-Sanchez, 32, Monroe, had stopped since one of her passengers was sick. Laureano-Sanchez was cited for driving without a license and no insurance. She was released pending court.

• Clark W. Schaller, 26, Monticello, was arrested at 10:24 p.m. on a Department of Corrections Probation and Parole warrant at the sheriff's department. Schaller was jailed pending court.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Friday:

• A deputy responded to a report of a dog bite at 10 a.m. on West Main Street, Shullsburg.

• A deputy responded at 10:45 a.m. to a report of threats to injure on County XX, Belmont Township.

• Daisy M. Harris, 32, Mineral Point, was arrested at 2:01 p.m. for domestic abuse-related disorderly conduct after deputies and Belmont police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance on County G, Kendall Township. Harris posted bond and was released.

• A deputy responded to a report of threats to injure on West Water Street, Shullsburg, at 2:40 p.m.

On Saturday:

• A deputy responded to a dog bite at 7:59 p.m. that occurred on Wood Road, Darlington Township.

• A deputy was dispatched at 9:21 p.m. to a report of suspicious activity on Broad Street, Village of Argyle.

On Sunday:

• A deputy is investigating an animal neglect complaint that occurred at 3:15 p.m. on Martin Road, Shullsburg Township.

• Deputies responded at 6:45 p.m. to a domestic disturbance on Galena Street, Village of Argyle.



Brodhead Police

BRODHEAD - Stephanie V. Nordeng, 22, Brodhead, was cited at 8:47 a.m. Wednesday for public nuisance affecting health in the 1300 block of West 3rd Avenue. Nordeng was released pending court.



New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - Police took a report of suspicious activity on Cragslist at 7:29 p.m. Monday, Sept. 29, in the 500 block of 14th Avenue. The investigation is ongoing.

On Tuesday:

• Police received a complaint of possible animal neglect at 1:57 p.m. in New Glarus Village. The incident remains under investigation.

• Police received a report of possible illegal narcotics activities occurring in New Glarus Village. Several names and vehicle registrations were given to police.

• Police took a complaint of a possibly intoxicated driver heading towards New Glarus at 10:30 a.m. Friday. The vehicle was not located.

On Saturday:

• Police responded to a mutual aid request by Belleville police at 12:59 a.m. to find a subject involved in a disorderly incident in the Village of Belleville. The subject was fleeing on foot, and the incident remains under investigation.

• Police located loud music emanating from a vehicle parked at a residence in the 400 block of 8th Avenue at 10:27 p.m. The music was turned down.
