MONROE - On Saturday:
• Nicole J. Gatza, 39, Brodhead, was arrested at 4:11 a.m. in the N4200 block of Pandow Drive in the Town of Decatur for disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property. Gatza was jailed pending bond or court.
On Sunday:
• Ashley R. Higgins, 29, Durand, Illinois, was arrested on a warrant issued by Brodhead Police while deputies checked a vehicle parked on the road at 5 p.m. in the W4200 block of Wis. 11 in the Town of Jefferson. Higgins was released on bond.

MONROE - On Sunday:
• Andrew J. Swanston, 26, Monroe, was arrested for disorderly conduct and obstructing/resisting an officer at 1:21 a.m. in the 2200 block of 8th Avenue after police responded to a disturbance call. During the incident, Meghan C. F. Sampson, 21, Monroe, was cited for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Swanston and Sampson were released with court dates.
On Monday:
A set of car keys were turned in at 5 p.m. in the intersection of 9th Avenue and 9th Street. The owner may claim the keys at the Monroe Police Department.

BRODHEAD - On Oct. 15:
• A 42-year-old Davis, Illinois, man was cited at 8:40 a.m. in the 600 block of 1st Street for speeding.
• A 45-year-old Brodhead man was cited at 10:05 a.m. in the 800 block of 7th Street for failure to stop at a stop sign.
• A 64-year-old Janesville woman was cited at 11:37 a.m. in the N500 block of 1st Center Avenue for speeding.
• Disorderly conduct was reported at 2:32 p.m. in the 2500 block of West 5th Avenue after a subject reportedly received threatening text messages. Contact was made and a warning was issued.
On Oct. 16:
• A 37-year-old Brodhead woman was cited at 1:26 p.m. in the 1000 block of 21st Street for no issued dog license.
On Oct. 17:
• Truancy was reported at 10:05 a.m. to the 1400 block of 21st Street. This matter remains under investigation.
• Damage to property was reported at 1:13 p.m. in the 700 block of East 5th Street after a vehicle received damage. This matter remains under investigation.
• A 23-year-old Aurora, Illinois, woman was arrested at 7:44 p.m. in the 2100 block of 1st Center Avenue for reckless driving and possession of marijuana.
• A 22-year-old Freeport man was arrested at 7:44 p.m. in the 2100 block of 1st Center Avenue for possession of marijuana.
On Wednesday:
• An 18-year-old Rockton, Illinois, man was cited at 3:58 p.m. in the 700 block of 23rd Street for speeding.
• A barking dog was reported at 4:39 p.m. at the 1300 block of West 3rd Avenue. The owner was contacted and a warning was issued.
On Thursday:
• Theft was reported at 8:18 p.m. at the 1400 block of 21st Street. A bicycle was taken from the property without permission. This matter remains under investigation.
