Monroe Police

MONROE - On Wednesday:

• Nicholas W.L. Nyman, 21, of Argyle was arrested and cited for possession of drug paraphernalia at 4:22 a.m. in the 1800 block of 12th Street.

• Officers responded at 11:16 p.m. to the 100 block of 25th Avenue for an unwanted subject. Investigation resulted in the arrest of Anthony M. Arndt, 18, of Monroe for criminal trespass to a dwelling; disorderly conduct; physical abuse to child; and false imprisonment. Arndt was jailed.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - On Wednesday:

• At 1:36 a.m., deputies stopped Rory S. Privett, 23, of Brodhead in the W4500 block of Wittenwyler Road, Town of Mount Pleasant, for a traffic violation. Privett was subsequently cited for non-registration of auto, operating a motor vehicle while revoked and operating a motor vehicle without insurance. Privett was released pending court.

• Shalonda D. Garrett, 24, Freeport, was cited for operating without a valid driver's license at 4:08 p.m. on N1100 of County G, in the Town of Spring Grove. Garrett was released pending court.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Wednesday:

• A deputy responded at 3:19 p.m. to Philippine Road, Wiota Township, for an animal bite.

• Deputies assisted Darlington Police at 4:45 p.m. on Madison Street in Darlington for a report of a missing person.

• At 7:52 p.m., a deputy responded to County XX, Belmont Township, for a report of a stolen motor vehicle.

• A 8:41 p.m., a deputy responded to U.S. 151, Belmont Township, for a traffic complaint.

• A deputy assisted Darlington police at 10:26 p.m. at Sunset Terrace in Darlington for a lift assist.
