Green County Sheriff

MONROE - On Saturday:

• Andrew J. Puesl, 27, Monroe, was cited for speeding in the N3400 block of Monroe-Sylvester Road.

• Kaleb J. Sobacki, 17, Monroe, was cited for driving without a valid driver's license in the W1300 block of Wisconsin 11.

• Ashley J. Foster, 31, of Juda was involved in a car vs. deer accident in the W4800 block of County KK.

On Monday:

• Heather L. Phillipson was involved in a car vs. deer accident in the W6100 block of Wisconsin 11/81 in the town of Monroe.



Monroe Police

MONROE - On Friday:

• At 8:41 p.m., police arrested Aaron L. Busch, 34, Monroe, in the 2300 block of 6th Avenue for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant, sixth offense. Busch was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court date.

On Saturday, Nathan Robert Mitchell Sweet, 25, Monroe, was arrested in the 1300 block of 9th Street for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant, second offense, operating a motor vehicle after revocation and operating with a prohibited alcohol concentration, at 1:02 a.m.. Sweet was released pending a court appearance.

On Sunday:

• Police arrested Guadalupe Sarmiento Gomez, 19, Monroe, at 1:17 a.m. in the 3000 block of 6th Avenue for absolute sobriety, operating without a valid driver's license and failure to report an accident after a minor traffic accident. Gomez was released pending a court appearance.

• Seancody L. Anderson, 22, of Darlington was arrested at 11: 56 p.m. in the 600 block of Wis. 69 for an outstanding warrant issued by the Lafayette County Sheriff's Department for trespassing. Anderson was also charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Anderson was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance. The driver of the vehicle Anderson was traveling in, Katelyn M. Herrington, 23, of Elizabeth, Illinois, was cited for possession of marijuana and released pending a court appearance.



Brodhead Police

BRODHEAD - On May 21:

• At 7:39 a.m., a 63-year old Zion, Illinois man was cited in the 400 block of 1st Center Avenue for speeding.

• Police responded at 8:29 a.m. to the 300 block of 12th Street for a report of two dogs running loose in the area. The owner was located and a warning was issued.

• At 12:12 p.m., a 32-year-old Albany woman was cited in the N300 block of 1st Center Avenue for speeding.

• A 25-year-old Brodhead man was arrested at 12:15 p.m. in the 300 block of East 10th Avenue for domestic disorderly conduct.

• Police responded at 3:12 p.m. to the 1500 block of West 5th Avenue for a report of fraud after a scam phone call was received.

On May 22:

• A 16-year-old was cited at 8:49 a.m. in the 2500 block of West 5th Avenue for truancy.

• A 22-year-old Brodhead man was cited at 5:07 p.m. in the 1000 block of 1st Center Avenue for speeding.

On May 23:

• Police responded ay 8:39 a.m. to the 900 block of West Exchange Street for a report of a subject being harassed at work. Police advised them on how to handle the issue.

• At 12:53 p.m., police responded to the 1600 block of West 4th Avenue for a violation of the junk vehicle ordinance. Contact was made and a warning was issued.

• A 27-year-old Brodhead man was cited at 5:04 p.m. in the 900 block of 4th Street for speeding.

• At 7:12 p.m., police contacted a juvenile in the 900 block of West Exchange Street for disorderly conduct for breaking bottles behind a business. A guardian was contacted and the juvenile was released with a warning.

On Wednesday:

• A 36-year-old Brodhead man was cited at 7:54 a.m. in the 1400 block of 21st Street for operating a motor vehicle without insurance.

• At 3:40 p.m., a 27-year-old Juda man was cited in the 2300 block of 1st Center Avenue for operating after revocation and for tampering with an ignition interlock.

• A 37-year-old Brodhead woman was cited at 5:07 p.m. in the N300 block of 1st Center Avenue for operating without valid driver's license.

• Police responded at 5:58 p.m. to the 800 block of West 2nd Avenue for a report of a barking dog. Contact was made and a warning was issued.

• Police responded at 6:41 p.m. to the 300 block of 1st Center Avenue for the report of an ordinance violation; a vehicle was in violation of the junk vehicle ordinance. Contact was made and a warning was issued.

• Police responded at 6:58 p.m. to the 1500 block of 1st Center Avenue for a report of several vehicles in violation of the junk vehicle ordinance. Contact was made and a warning was issued.

• At 7:47 p.m., a 24-year-old Albany woman was cited in the N300 block of 1st Center Avenue for speeding.

• A 23-year-old Brodhead woman was arrested at 8:54 p.m. in the 800 block of 1st Center Avenue on an apprehension request by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections.

• At 8:54 p.m., a 22-year-old Madison woman was arrested in the 800 block of 1st Center Avenue for possession of marijuana.

• A 39-year-old Tacoma, Washington woman was cited at 10:16 p.m. in the 2400 block of 1st Center Avenue for theft.

On Friday:

• At 7:51 a.m., a 32-year-old Brodhead man was arrested in the 1000 block of 1st Center Avenue for child neglect.

• Police responded at 10:22 a.m. to the 2500 block of West 5th Avenue for a report of disorderly conduct. After investigating, a citation was issued.

• Police responded at 12:16 p.m. to the 1000 block of 1st Center Avenue for a hit-and-run accident. The suspect vehicle was located and the investigation continues.

• Police responded at 5:52 p.m. to the 1000 block of 1st Center Avenue for a parking complaint. Contact was made with the vehicles' owners and the vehicles were moved.

• At 7:47 p.m., police responded to the 1100 block 1st Center Avenue on check welfare complaint. Contact was made with no issues.

On Saturday:

• At 11:57 a.m., police responded to the 300 block of 12th Street for a theft complaint; property had been removed from a property. The investigation continues.

• A 36-year-old Evansville man was arrested at 4:40 p.m. in the 100 block of 1st Street on a Wisconsin Department of Corrections warrant. He was transported to the Green County Jail.
