Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Jason A. Buttchen, 26, Juda, was arrested at 6 p.m. Wednesday at a residence in the N2200 block of County OK, Town of Jefferson, for a warrant issued by the Rock County Sheriff's Office for failure to appear for a court date. Buttchen was handed over to Rock County deputies.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Wednesday:

• A deputy responded to an animal neglect complaint at 8:50 a.m. at a location on West Mound Road, Belmont Township.

• A deputy assisted with traffic control at 11 a.m. on Wisconsin 11, Shullsburg, for a funeral procession.

• A deputy investigated a complaint of threats to injure an individual at 11:45 a.m. at a location on Kennedy Road, Benton Township.

• A deputy helped a juvenile client and Lafayette County Human Services remove personal property from a residence on Furnace Hill Road, Willow Springs Township, at 4:13 p.m.

• Deputies were dispatched at 5:45 p.m. for a welfare check at a residence on County G, Belmont Township. Belmont EMS assisted with the call.

• A deputy responded to a traffic complaint at 6:15 p.m. of an erratic driver on West Grove Street, South Wayne.

• James L. Reed, 61, Monroe, was arrested at 10:30 p.m. for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop on Milwaukee Street, Argyle. Reed was a passenger in the vehicle.

• Deputies were dispatched at 11:30 p.m. to Ipswitch Road, Belmont Township, to check on an unattended fire. The deputy located the burn site, but there was no need for a fire department response.
