DARLINGTON - David T. Reed, 58, Darlington, was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated and operating left of center at about 5:45 p.m. Thursday, May 23, after police responded to a traffic complaint on Main Street. He was released pending court.

MONROE - A burglary was reported at a residence in the 500 block of West 21st Street at 4:41 p.m. Thursday, May 23. Property valued at $300 was reported missing. There was no sign of forced entry. An investigation continues.

MONROE - Kyle D. Williams, 20, Brodhead, was cited for inattentive driving and taken to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries after deputies responded at 5:45 p.m. Thursday, May 23, to a three-vehicle crash in the W1700 block of Wisconsin 11/81 in Spring Grove Township. Williams did not see vehicles ahead of him slowing to a stop and was unable to avoid a collision. He hit a vehicle driven by Stephanie J. Kelly, 39, South Beloit, whose vehicle in turn was forced into the rear of a vehicle driven by George S. Ferger, 82, Clinton. Kelly suffered non-life threatening injuries and was taken to an area hospital. Her vehicle was severely damaged and towed. Ferger and his three passengers, Doris J. Ferger, 79, Clinton, and John D. Ferger, 80, and Judith M. Ferger, 70, both of Avalon, reported no injuries. Ferger's vehicle was moderately damaged and towed. The Juda Fire Department and Green County EMS assisted.

A theft was reported at 3:17 p.m. on 1st Street in Benton.
A theft was reported at 6:20 p.m. on Faymont Road in Fayette Township.
