Monroe Police

MONROE - A dog running at large in the 1300 block of 17th Avenue was reported at 10:45 p.m. Thursday, March 21. The animal was gone by the time officers arrived.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Mindy R. Ashman, 38, Machesney Park, Ill., was cited for reckless driving and deviation from lane of travel after deputies responded at 4:26 a.m. Thursday, March 21, to a traffic complaint on Wisconsin 81 west of County T in Spring Grove Township. The caller said a Blazer-type vehicle was westbound on Wis. 81 in the eastbound lane. Deputies located and stopped a gray/silver Chevy Trailblazer that was driving on the westbound shoulder in the W4400 block of Wis. 11/81 in Jefferson Township. Ashman submitted to a field-sobriety test but the result was a non-arrest decision. She was taken to the Green County Sheriff's Department and turned over to a responsible party pending court.

Jeremy H. Hardyman, 27, Madison, was cited for driving with a revoked license and driving without proof of vehicle insurance after a deputy stopped him for having obstructed license plates on Wis. 69 at Wis. 11 in Monroe Township at 7:38 p.m. Thursday, March 21. Hardyman was released to a valid driver pending court.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Thursday, March 21:

Sandra L. Wallgren, 49, Argyle, was cited for speeding at 12:42 p.m. on Wis. 81 in Argyle Township.

Shane W. Holder, 20, Benton, was cited for speeding and driving with a suspended license and no vehicle insurance at 2:17 p.m. on County O in Shullsburg Township.

A telephone scam was reported at 10:07 a.m. by a resident on Center Hill Road in Darlington. The suspected scammer was attempting to collect fees associated with winning a large amount of money and a vehicle. The resident did not provide any personal information or payments to the caller.
