DARLINGTON - On Thursday, Feb. 28:
- Ashley M. Heffran, 26, Darlington, was cited for driving with a suspended license at about 1:05 p.m. on Main Street.
- Jose M. Cruz-Salgado, 53, Glendale Heights, Ill., was cited for driving without a valid license at about 7:15 p.m. on Galena Street.
Monroe Police
MONROE - On Thursday, Feb. 28:
- Justin J. Curran, 31, Monroe, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct under domestic-abuse laws after officers responded at 7:20 p.m. to a call from a 48-year-old woman in the 2500 block of 13th Street. Curran was released after posting a cash bond.
- Justin L. Laws, 25, Monroe, was cited for allowing a dog to run at large after an officer on patrol at 1:54 p.m. saw the animal running loose in the 1300 block of 16th Avenue.
- Police were called at 7:22 a.m. to a disagreement between two sisters, ages 15 and 17, in the 2000 block of 14th Avenue. The sisters were throwing things at each other. Police warned them to settle their differences in a civil way.
- Employees at Badger State Ethanol, 820 W. 17th St., reported at 8:50 a.m. that a dog has recently been hanging around the facility. The minute an officer arrived on scene, however, the healthy-looking mutt took off.
- A property owner in the 1400 block of 9th Street was warned at about 5:15 p.m. to shovel snow.
- A dog owner in the 1500 block of 23rd Street was warned for allowing the animals to bark too much outside after police responded to a complaint at 8:19 p.m. The resident has previously been cited for barking dogs.
Lafayette County Sheriff
DARLINGTON - On Thursday, Feb. 28:
- Courtney D. Seals, 33, Fitchburg, was transported at 6:15 p.m. from the Dane County Jail to the Lafayette County Jail on a valid warrant. She remains jailed.
- Michael K. Ruf, 17, Darlington, was cited for speeding at 3:58 p.m. on Wisconsin 81 in the Town of Darlington.
- Deputies along with Belmont Ambulance responded at 12:11 a.m. to a report of disorderly conduct on West Mound Avenue in Belmont.
- A deputy responded at 7:40 a.m. to a report of an injured animal on Wis. 11 in the Town of Wayne.
- A deputy responded at 8:57 a.m. to a report of an injured animal along County G in the Town of Belmont.
