MONROE - On Wednesday, March 13:

- A resident in the 200 block of West 22nd Street Court reported a lot of barking coming from a neighbor's house at 8:32 a.m. and was concerned the neighbor was keeping an excessive number of dogs in the home, in violation of city code. Police are still following up on the case.

- An aggressive dog was reported in the 1300 block of 17th Avenue at 12:29 p.m.

- A theft of Percocet, a prescription painkiller containing oxycodone, was reported at 12:50 p.m. from a home in the 700 block of 14th Avenue. There was no sign of forced entry.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Telephone harassment that occurred on March 8 when the complainant was driving on Wis. 11 in the Benton area was reported at 8:30 p.m. Both the complainant and suspect are from the Janesville area.



On Wednesday, March 13:

- Linda M. Pinch, 27, Cuba City, was arrested on a valid warrant issued by Lafayette County, after a deputy responded at 3:20 p.m. to take a report of harassment on Pinch Lane in Benton Township. Pinch posted bond and was released.

- Jessica R. Hoey, 21, Dubuque, was arrested at 9:35 p.m. on a valid warrant issued by Lafayette County, as a result of contact made when a deputy responded to assist a motorist with unlocking a vehicle on County A in Shullsburg Township.

- Caroline T. Dwan, 47, Chicago, was cited for speeding at 2:09 p.m. on County W in Monticello Township.

- A deputy responded at 8:42 a.m. to Ipswitch Road in Elk Grove Township for a report of vandalism. Two road signs from Shullsburg Township had been removed from their posts and left in a ditch. The signs were returned to Shullsburg Township.
