Darlington Police

DARLINGTON - Amos Breen, 28, Darlington, was arrested for possession of marijuana, carrying a concealed weapon, and bail jumping at 1:35 p.m. Tuesday on East Street, following a disturbance. He remains jailed pending court.

Monroe Police

MONROE - Christopher J. Martinez, 29, Monroe, was arrested for first-offense driving while intoxicated, driving with a prohibited alcohol concentration, a second-offense driving while suspended, possessing open intoxicants and excessive acceleration at 11:23 p.m. Wednesday in the 1300 block of 11th Street. He was released with a court date.

- Joseph W. Cawood, 23, East Lansing, was cited for speeding at 8:37 a.m. Wednesday in the 500 block of 8th Avenue. He was released with a court date.

- Shannon M. Owen, 33, Madison, was cited for a seatbelt violation and a sixth-offense driving while suspended at 8:59 a.m. Wednesday in the 1300 block of 16th Street. A passenger, Jillian A. Gowen, 24, Monroe, was cited for a seatbelt violation. Both subjects were released with a court date.

- Wilford Robertson, Jr., 55, Ridott, was cited for speeding at 9:07 a.m. Wednesday in the 300 block of 8th Street. He was released with a court date.

- Tony R. Stamm, 48, Monroe, was cited for a seatbelt violation at 11:48 a.m. Wednesday in the 600 block of 26th Street. He was released with a court date.

- Kayla M. Meier, 17, South Wayne, was cited for failure to yield-right-of-way from a stop sign at 1:53 p.m. Wednesday in the 1100 block of 13th Avenue. She was released with a court date.

- Gwendolyn J. Weber, 20, South Wayne, was cited for a seatbelt violation at 8:02 p.m. Wednesday in the 100 block of North 18th Avenue. She was released with a court date.

- Brianna M. Price, 18, Monroe, was cited for underage possession and consumption of alcohol at 11:23 p.m. Wednesday in the 800 block of 14h Avenue. She was released with a court date.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Paul C. Owens, 42, Truth or Consequences, N.M., was arrested on a warrant issued by Truth or Consequences Police Department for a charge of violating a conditions of release for selling stolen firearms to a state police narcotics agent, possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia at 1:30 a.m. Wednesday at a private residence on Wisconsin 81 in the town of Jordan. Owen was also wanted on a warrant issued through Darlington for failure to pay a fine for shoplifting and a Lafayette County warrant for obstruct an officer/contempt of court. Owens was also charged with possession of THC and possession of drug paraphernalia. Owens was jailed pending court and transport to other agencies.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Deputies took a report of telephone harassment at a residence at 2:51 p.m. Wednesday on Prospect Street in Blanchardville. Reports indicate that the complainants were receiving unwanted phone calls connected to a phone scam. The incident remains under investigation.
