BRODHEAD POLICE

BRODHEAD - On July 9:

• A burglary was reported at 1:29 a.m. in the 400 block of 1st Center Avenue.

• A fireworks violation was reported at 2:03 p.m. in the 1500 block of East 8th Avenue.

• A 22-year-old Janesville woman was cited at 4:33 p.m. for speeding in the N300 block of 1st Center Avenue.

• A 33-year-old South Beloit, Illinois, man was cited at 4:56 p.m. for speeding in the N300 block of 1st Center Avenue.

On July 10:

• An ordinance violation was reported at 7:20 a.m. in the 1200 block of 13th Street.

• Credit card fraud was reported at 1:44 p.m. in the 100 block of 17th Street.

• An ordinance violation was reported at 1:49 p.m. in the 800 block of 1st Center Avenue.

• A 53-year-old Brodhead man was cited at 3:17 p.m. for public urination in the 1400 block of East 2nd Avenue.

• A theft was reported at 4:24 p.m. in the 1600 block of 1st Center Avenue.

On July 11, a 25-year-old Albany man was cited at 4:22 p.m. for speeding in the 700 block of 1st Street.

On Wednesday, an ordinance violation was reported at 9:19 p.m. in the 1200 block of 13th Street.

On Thursday:

• A 33-year-old Monticello man was arrested at 1:29 a.m. for driving while intoxicated, driving with open intoxicants and improperly stopping at a railroad crossing in the 1000 block of East 9th Avenue.

• A gas drive-off was reported at 2:04 p.m. in the 1100 block of 1st Center Avenue.

• A 23-year-old Brodhead woman was cited at 2:07 p.m. for a dog at large in the 1000 block of 1st Center Avenue.

• An animal bite was reported at 5 p.m. in the 1000 block of 12th Street.

On Friday:

• A mail scam was reported at 4:40 p.m. in the 100 block of 13th Street.

• Disorderly conduct was reported at 5:59 p.m. in the 400 block of 3rd Street.



MONROE POLICE

MONROE - On Friday, Angela M. Graff, 31, Monroe, was arrested at 8:01 a.m. on a Monroe Police warrant for theft in the 1900 block of 7th Street.

On Saturday:

• Shawn M. Allen, 26, Rockford, was cited at 7:26 p.m. for disorderly conduct and obstructing an officer in the 1000 block of 16th Avenue.

• Darwin D. Williams, 59, Monroe, was arrested at 11:55 p.m. for domestic disorderly conduct and battery in the 1400 block of 12th Avenue.



NEW GLARUS POLICE

NEW GLARUS - On July 11:

• Police assisted the Monticello Police at 10:45 a.m. with a suspicious activity report in the 700 block of Johnson Street.

• Nita E. Duerst, 53, New Glarus, was cited at 6:03 p.m. for speeding on Durst Road.

• Courtney C. Tselikis, 30, Monticello, was cited at 6:14 p.m. for illegal window tinting on Wis. 69.

• Police assisted the Green and Dane county sheriffs at 11:10 p.m. with a traffic hazard in the N9600 block of Primrose Center Road.

On Wednesday, police removed a snapping turtle from the roadway at 9:05 p.m. at the intersection of County W and Wisconsin 69.

On Thursday:

• Police helped unlock a vehicle in the 1700 block of 2nd Street.

• Possible animal abuse was reported at 1:50 p.m. in the 300 block of 5th Street. The incident was not found.

On Friday:

• Police helped unlock a vehicle at 8:12 a.m. in the 900 block of Glarner Drive.

• Suspicious activity was reported at 4:56 p.m. at a New Glarus business.

• A suspicious vehicle was reported at 11:22 p.m. in the 10 block of 14th Avenue.

On Saturday:

• Christina D. Murray, 41, New Glarus, was cited at 1:02 a.m. for driving without vehicle insurance in the 600 block of Wis. 69.

• Police helped unlock a vehicle at 11:57 a.m. in the 200 block of Industrial Drive.

• Kendra S. Gessler, 37, Beloit, was cited at 6:59 p.m. for speeding in the 1100 block of Wis. 69.

On Sunday:

• Police assisted a citizen at 1:07 a.m. in the 500 block of 14th Avenue.

• Police assisted a citizen with a fallen tree at 1:30 a.m. in the 300 block of 3rd Avenue.

• Police cleared storm debris from roadways at 2:38 a.m.

• Police helped unlock a vehicle at 1:14 p.m. in the 200 block of 4th Avenue.



GREEN COUNTY SHERIFF

MONROE - Bruce A. Halverson, 54, Brooklyn, was arrested at 7:21 p.m. Sunday for domestic disorderly conduct, obstructing an officer and false imprisonment in the W1900 block of Zweifel Road, Town of Brooklyn.



LAFAYETTE COUNTY SHERIFF

DARLINGTON - On Friday:

• A deputy checked an individual's welfare at 12:43 a.m. on Robert Homb Memorial Drive in South Wayne.

• Livestock on the roadway were reported at 7:27 a.m. on County Z, Town of Darlington.

• A deputy checked an individual's welfare at 10:44 a.m. on South Varnum Street in South Wayne.

• A deputy assisted a driver at 11:17 a.m. on County K in Gratiot.

• An injured animal in the roadway was reported at 8:01 p.m. on County M, Town of Wiota.

• A deputy helped unlock a vehicle at 9:33 p.m. on Louisa Street in Darlington.

• An erratic driver was reported at 10:08 p.m. on County F, Town of Blanchard.

• A deputy helped unlock a vehicle at 10:58 p.m. on Louisa Street in Darlington.

On Saturday:

• Disorderly conduct was reported at 2:06 a.m. on Main Street in Darlington.

• Suspicious activity was reported at 4:29 a.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Wayne.

• Carly K. Snudden, 19, Lake Geneva, was cited at 5:59 p.m. for speeding on Wis. 23, Town of Darlington.
