MONROE - William E. Messerli, 60, Monroe, was arrested at about 5:45 p.m. Tuesday in the 700 block of Eighth Street for an outstanding warrant issued by the Green County Sheriff's Department. Messerli was jailed.

MONROE - Deputies investigated a report of a business being damaged at about 7:15 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of County CC and Exeter Crossing Road. Investigation found the building had been spray painted with black paint. This is the second time the building has been damaged in this manner. Anyone with information on the damage is encouraged to contact the Green County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-I-C-Crime. The case remains under investigation.

DARLINGTON - Russell D. Foreman, 26, Blanchardville, was arrested on a warrant at about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday and transported to the Lafayette County Jail. Foreman posted bond and was released.
Faith G. Colson, 20, Benton, was cited for operating a motor vehicle while suspended at about 3:45 p.m. Tuesday in the village of Benton.
