Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Friday:

• Tina M. Hermanson, 45, Darlington, was arrested at 2:50 p.m. on a probation hold following a welfare check at a residence on Gravel Run Road, Lamont Township. Hermanson was jailed pending court.

• William A. Anderson, 56, Gratiot, was arrested for disorderly conduct after deputies responded to a welfare check on Main Street, Village of Gratiot. Anderson was jailed and later released to a responsible party. Heidi H. Hume, 49, Monroe, was arrested for battery during the same incident and was jailed pending court.

On Saturday:

• Slade T. Norton, 17, Darlington, was cited for speeding at 2:30 a.m. following a traffic stop on Holland Road, Seymour Township. A number of young men were cited for underage alcohol consumption during the same incident, listed as follows: Tucker J. Sarbacker, 19, Mineral Point; Tyler A. Brunkow, 18, Darlington; Harley N. Douglas, 19, Darlington; Aric J. Geissbuhler, 18, Darlington and Cody S. Rider, 18, Rewey.

• Martin J. Hefel, 29, Farley, Iowa, was arrested at 11:12 p.m. for disorderly conduct after deputies responded to an incident on East Louisa Street, Darlington. Hefel posted bond and was released to a responsible person.

On Sunday:

• A deputy responded to a theft complaint at 10:25 a.m. on Lake Road, Fayette Township.

• A deputy took a report of telephone harassment on County Y, Wiota Township, at 12:45 p.m.

• A deputy took a report of found property at 9:06 p.m. on East Louisa Street, Darlington.

On Monday:

• A deputy responded to a report of a tree in the roadway at 5:17 a.m. on Furnace Hill Road, Willow Springs Township. Township personnel were notified and removed the tree from the roadway.

• A deputy responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle on Wick Road, Gratiot Township, at 9:15 a.m.

• A deputy investigated a report of damaged fields at 5:40 p.m. at a location on Wayne Center Road, Wayne Township. Several fields had been driven through by an unknown vehicle, causing damage.

• A deputy responded at 7:10 p.m. to a complaint of livestock on the roadway on Wisconsin 78, Argyle Township.

• A deputy responded to a residence for an unwanted subject at the residence on West Center Street, South Wayne, at 7:25 p.m. The male subject, a relative of the complainant, left prior to the arrival of law enforcement.

• A deputy checked a residence at 10:51 p.m. for a report of suspicious activity on East Main Street, Shullsburg.



Darlington Police

DARLINGTON - On Friday:

• Richard T. Corley, 36, Darlington, was cited at 10 a.m. for disorderly conduct as a result of an investigation from an incident that occurred on Wednesday, July 2 at a residence on Galena Street. Corley was released pending court.

• Hugh R. Evans, 49, Ironwood, Mich., was cited at 10:30 a.m. for removal of property from the Darlington Festival Grounds. Evans' citation came following and investigation into an incident that occurred on Saturday, June 14. Evans was released pending court.

On Sunday:

• Nicholas Casales, 19, Darlington, was arrested at 2:46 a.m. for driving a vehicle while intoxicated and underage alcohol consumption following a traffic stop on Wisconsin 23. Casales was also cited for driving left-of-center and unreasonable and imprudent speeds.



New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - On Monday, July 7:

• Police responded to an altercation between two females in the 300 block of Elmer Road at 10:47 a.m. The incident remains under investigation.

• Officers were flagged down and contacted in reference to a traffic complaint at 8:46 p.m. It was reported that a vehicle was all over the road and the driver could be intoxicated. The vehicle was located in front of a local hotel and was unoccupied.

On Tuesday:

• Russell W. Rylander, 54, New Glarus, was cited at 1 p.m. for a violation on the limit of number of dogs.

• Police took a report of burglary at 3 p.m. from a residence in the village. A woman's wallet was taken from the residence in the early morning hours. The investigation continues.

On Wednesday:

• Police investigated a possible sexual assault to a subject at 2 p.m. that took place in the village. Grant County Human Services assisted with the investigation. The investigation continues. Sgt. Jeff Sturdevant said the department is issuing no comment on the pending investigation into this matter.

• Police took a complaint about the living conditions for animals in the 400 block of 2nd Street at 4:26 p.m. The investigation continues.

• Police took a subject under emergency detention after the subject resisted arrest and attempted to ingest several pills in the New Glarus Library. Police received a complaint at 11:32 a.m. Thursday of a subject being disorderly in the library who then made statements about wanting to harm themselves. The subject will be referred to the Green County District Attorney's office for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest charges. Green County sheriff's deputies, New Glarus EMS and Green County Human Services assisted with the call.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Carl L. McAdory, 44, Brodhead, was arrested at 10:24 p.m. Monday on a Green County warrant in the W100 block of Halfway Tree Road, Spring Grove Township. McAdory was jailed pending court.
