Albany Police

ALBANY - Loren C. Bowen, 26, Albany, was arrested on a probation apprehension and on a charge of disorderly conduct Saturday, July 13. His signature bond was set at $1,000 Monday, July 15, in Green County Circuit Court, with the conditions that he not drink or have contact with the alleged victim. He has a pre-trial conference scheduled Aug. 27.

• Brett L. Weyers, 21, Milwaukee, was arrested Sunday, July 14, on charges of driving while intoxicated, driving with a prohibited blood-alcohol concentration and operating left of the center line.

• Jason D. Klein, 21, Milwaukee, was cited for outside consumption of alcohol Saturday, July 13.

Brodhead Police

BRODHEAD - Jamie L. Splinter, 27, Brodhead, was arrested in the 1600 block of East 2nd Avenue at 4:02 p.m. Monday, July 8, on a warrant issued by Green County Circuit Court. She was jailed.

• Danielle D. Elmer, 25, and Brittany J. Heller, 26, both of Brodhead, were cited for violating park regulations/park curfew and for obstructing an officer at 2:40 a.m. Sunday, July 7, in the 400 block of West 3rd Avenue.

• Morgan M. Williams, 19, Janesville, was cited for speeding in the 400 block of 1st Street at 4:47 p.m. Sunday, July 7.

• Andy J. Markham, 37, Juda, was cited for driving with a suspended license Sunday, July 7, stemming from an incident two days earlier.

• Christine A. Dagle, 49, Janesville, was cited for speeding in the 600 block of 1st Street at 4:45 p.m. Monday, July 8.

• Trisha L. Miller, 24, and Tyler J. Miller, 20, both of Brodhead, were cited for disorderly conduct at 8:29 p.m. Monday, July 8, in the 2100 block of 1st Center Avenue.

• Mark S. McFall, 61, Platteville, was cited for speeding in the 500 block of 1st Street at 12:55 p.m. Wednesday, July 10.

• Ryan L. Bergemann, 37, Brodhead, was cited for driving with a revoked license in the 2400 block of 1st Center Avenue at 6 a.m. Thursday, July 11, and again the next day at 6:24 p.m. in the 1200 block of East 9th Avenue.

• Miguel A. Barcena, 46, Evansville, was cited for non-registration of a vehicle at 3:59 p.m. Friday, July 12, in the 500 block of 1st Street.

Monroe Police

MONROE - Cody J. Ott, 21, McConnell, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated in the 2900 block of 18th Street at 2:09 a.m. Friday, July 12. He was also cited for driving with a prohibited blood-alcohol concentration, driving without a valid license, unsafe lane deviation and having open intoxicants in the vehicle. He was released pending court.

• Megan L. Anson, 27, Browntown, was arrested on a charge of obstructing an officer and on a warrant issued by the Rock County Sheriff's Department, following a traffic stop in the 1700 block of 16th Street at 11:53 p.m. Friday, July 12. The officer stopped her because he saw her duck down in the driver's seat, and he considered this suspicious behavior. She reportedly tried to give the officer a fake name. She was cited for driving without a valid license, then jailed on the obstructing charge and warrant. Her signature bond was set at $750 Monday, July 15, in Green County Circuit Court. She has a pre-trial conference Sept. 3.

• Heather L.D. Halverson, 25, Albany, was arrested in the 200 block of 18th Avenue at 8:24 a.m. Saturday, July 13, on a warrant issued by the Albany Police Department. She was jailed.

On Thursday, July 11:

• A woman in the 100 block of Swiss Court called at 11:16 p.m. to complain that her adult child's landlord has been calling her, seeking to collect rent. Police warned the landlord not to call the tenant's mother.

• A caller at 11:50 p.m. complained of people with loud mufflers and loud voices coming and going at a residence in the 600 block of Sunrise Court. Police warned the tenant at the residence to keep the visitors quieter.

On Friday, July 12:

• A black and white puppy wearing an invisible fence collar was reported found at 8:21 a.m. in the 2600 block of 14th Avenue, near Abraham Lincoln Accelerated Learning Academy. The puppy was taken to the Green County Humane Society.

• A caller at 1 p.m. complained of being disturbed by a trash company emptying out containers in the area of the 2600 block of Wis. 69 before 6 a.m., in violation of city ordinance. Police advised the company of the complaint.

• A maroon boy's bike was reported found at 3 p.m. in the 2400 block of 12th Street and brought to the police station, where it can be claimed.

• A backpack and contents were reported found at 8:28 p.m. in the 200 block of 11th Street and brought to the police station, where it can be claimed.

• Police responded to a complaint at 9:31 p.m. of fireworks in the area of 9th Avenue and 22nd Street. Police did not locate anyone setting off fireworks.

On Saturday, July 13:

• A cat bite of a woman was reported at 11:55 a.m. in the 1300 block of 31th Avenue. The cat is being quarantined for 10 days at the Green County Humane Society.

• Police responded to a complaint at 4:05 p.m. of a trailer filled with garbage in a backyard in the 100 block of North 20th Avenue. Police warned the tenant to move the trailer, and notified the landlord of the issue.

• A lost man's wallet was reported at 5:19 p.m. It was unknown where it was lost.

• Police were called at 7:37 p.m. to a dispute between two former roommates in the 2400 block of 4th Street. One of the men drove his car across the other man's lawn, causing damage. Criminal charges will be avoided if the man who damaged the lawn repairs it.

• A father in the 300 block of 8th Street alleged at 8:11 p.m. that his daughter's former boyfriend made contact with her, in violation of a temporary restraining order they have on the ex-boyfriend. Police referred the case to the District Attorney for review.

• Children in the 300 block of 3rd Street reported a physical domestic dispute at 9:12 p.m. between their mother and her live-in boyfriend. The boyfriend was gone when police arrived, and the mother would not tell police about the incident. No one was cited or arrested.

On Sunday, July 14:

• Police were called to the 2000 block of 5th Street at 12:15 a.m. for a report of a man threatening another. The Lafayette County Sheriff's Department is following up on the case, as one of the man lives in that county.

• An ATV worth about $2,000 was reported stolen at 9:33 a.m. off a trailer parked in the AmericInn parking lot off 4th Avenue.

• Damage to a privately owned canopy in Recreation Park, by the tennis courts, was reported at 10:01 a.m.

• An American flag was found discarded on a residential front lawn in the 1400 block of 15th Avenue and brought to the police station, where it can be claimed.

• A bag of shirts bought at St. Vinny's was reported stolen at 4:43 p.m. out of an unlocked vehicle parked outside Pizza Hut on 8th Avenue.

• Staff at Monroe Clinic called for police assistance with an unruly patient at 4:59 p.m. The patient had calmed down by the time police arrived.

• Police were called at 6:04 p.m. to the 900 block of 8th Street for a dispute between family members over the use of a moped. No one was cited or arrested.

New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - Joshua M. Ennis, 29, Monroe, was cited for driving without vehicle insurance and for a seatbelt violation at 1:29 p.m. Wednesday, July 10, on 6th Avenue at Railroad Street.

• Kacy L. Dearing, 39, New Glarus, was cited for driving alcohol in public at 1:14 a.m. Friday, July 12, in the 500 block of Wis. 69.

• Unwanted noises coming from an upstairs apartment in the 300 block of 5th Street were reported at 10 p.m. Tuesday, July 9. Police spoke with the upstairs neighbor about the complaint.

• An illegal bonfire was reported in the 600 block of 7th Avenue at 11:59 a.m. Friday, July 12. Police spoke with the homeowner, who was intoxicated, and advised him to extinguish the fire.

• Criminal damage to a motorcycle in the 100 block of 8th Avenue was reported at 9:38 a.m. Saturday, July 13. A suspect or suspects had pushed over the motorcycle while it was legally parked in a driveway, and the motorcycle in turn struck a car in the driveway. The car was undamaged. The motorcycle sustained minor damage.

• Police responded to a 911 call from the 200 block of 7th Avenue at 9:52 p.m. Saturday, July 13. The line was disconnected shortly after the call came in. Police searched the area and found no signs of distress or criminal activity.

• Police responded to a complaint of firecrackers being thrown near a vehicle in the 1000 block of 2nd Street at 2:11 p.m. Sunday, July 14. The suspect or suspects were not located.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Blake M. Foesch, 17, Monroe, was arrested on a charge of violating the absolute sobriety law by driving under the influence of alcohol, after deputies stopped a vehicle on Wis. 69 at Holloway Road in Washington Township at 11:14 p.m. Saturday, July 13. Foesch was also cited for failing to stop for a stop sign. His passenger, a 16-year-old girl from Argyle, was cited for underage drinking and having open intoxicants in the vehicle. Another passenger, Tyler D. Bevins, 19, Monroe, was cited for underage drinking. All three were released pending court.

• Justin Lee Buelteman, 19, Monroe, was cited for driving with a suspended license at 4:09 a.m. Sunday, July 14, when he was stopped on 18th Avenue at 6th Street in Monroe for having an expired vehicle registration.

• A fireworks offense was reported in the W4000 block of Towns Road in Sylvester Township at 2:46 a.m. Sunday, July 14.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Daniel L. Berg, 50, Dodgeville, was arrested on a fourth-offense charge of driving while intoxicated, after a passerby found him sitting in a parked vehicle on West Moundview Avenue at 3:20 a.m. Saturday, July 13. Belmont EMS was alerted to the scene and transported Berg to Upland Hills Hospital in Dodgeville, where Dodgeville police assisted with the case. Berg was later released to a responsible party.

• Kimberly M. Bordner, 26, Warren, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated at 9:32 p.m. Sunday, July 14, on Wis. 78 in Gratiot Township. She was later released to a responsible party.

• Samantha Jo Derr, 21, Freeport, was cited for speeding on Wis. 11 in Gratiot Township at 4:27 p.m. Friday, July 12.

• Marcus D. Hurlbert, 21, Monroe, was cited for speeding and driving without proof of vehicle insurance on Wis. 23 in Shullsburg Township at 4:47 p.m. Friday, July 12.

• Shaun D. Jackson, 30, Browntown, was cited for speeding on County G in Argyle Township at 8:24 a.m. Saturday, July 13.

• Dabi Dabi Rodrigues, 27, Belmont, was cited for speeding and for driving without a valid license or vehicle insurance at 10:50 p.m. Saturday, July 13, on Wis. 81 in Seymour Township.

• A deputy investigated a complaint of a dirt bike being driven on streets in South Wayne at 3 p.m. Friday, July 12.

• A deputy responded to a residence on North 2nd Street in Benton for a dispute over personal property at 4:30 p.m. Friday, July 12.

• A barking dog causing a disturbance was reported on Railroad Avenue in Benton at 8 p.m. Friday, July 12.
