Monroe Police

MONROE - Drew M. Bloyer, 17, Monroe, was cited for a curfew violation in the 600 block of 18th Avenue at 1:15 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, and released to a parent.

• Dustin A. Foesch, 25, Monroe, was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated (second offense) and possessing drug paraphernalia at 12:44 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, in the 800 block of 15th Avenue. He was released pending court.

• Police responded to Monroe Middle School, 1510 13th St., at 7:51 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, for a report of two students fighting. A 13-year-old boy was cited for disorderly conduct. A 14-year-old boy was warned.

• A 13-year-old male student was referred for possible charges in juvenile court at 8:14 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, after he allegedly vandalized a bathroom stall at Monroe Middle School.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Ryan A. Unbehaun, 26, Monroe, was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated (third offense) and bail jumping at 9:56 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, after deputies responded to a vehicle in a ditch on Wisconsin 11 near 18th Avenue in Monroe. Unbehaun reportedly lost control of the vehicle and slid into the ditch. He was also cited for failure to maintain control of a vehicle. He was jailed pending court or bond.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Duane M. Jorgenson, 59, Darlington, was cited for an expired vehicle registration following a one-car accident at 6:58 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, on County M in the Town of Wiota. The driver, Amy E. Jorgenson, 18, was transported by private vehicle for treatment of injuries after she lost control of his 1998 Chevrolet and it veered off the road, hit a culvert and overturned onto its roof. It was extensively damaged and towed from the scene.

• Elaine Beranek, 46, Darlington, was cited for driving an uninsured vehicle at 8:12 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, following a one-vehicle accident on Faymont Road in the Town of Fayette that injured her and a passenger, Stephanie L. Beranek, 17, also of Darlington. The elder Baranek lost control of her 1998 Oldsmobile van, and it veered into a ditch, hit a culvert and overturned. The Baraneks had to be extricated from the vehicle and were transported to the Lafayette County Memorial Hospital for non-life threatening injuries. The van was extensively damaged and towed from the scene. The Darlington Fire Department and Rural Medical Ambulance assisted at the scene.
