New Glarus Police
NEW GLARUS - Police assisted the Green County Sheriff's Department with removing hazardous debris from the roadway on Wis. 69 near Dean Lane at 11:31 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19.
Police were dispatched at 12:25 p.m. Saturday Feb. 22, to the New Glarus High School for an open 911 call. The school was checked and there was no one in distress. The 911 call was accidental.
Police assisted Green County deputies at 1:55 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 23, with a one-vehicle roll-over crash with injuries in the county.
Monroe Police
MONROE - On Friday, Feb. 21:
Andrew J. Hughes, 35, Monroe, was arrested at 6:17 a.m. in the 2200 block of 5th Avenue on a body only warrant issued through the Dane County Sheriff's Department for failure to pay child support. Hughes was confined in the Green County Jail.
A 16-year-old female was cited for retail theft at 4:18 p.m. at a business in the 300 block of West 6th Avenue. She was issued a court date.
Eric R. West, 30, Monroe, was arrested and charged at 5:19 p.m. with disorderly conduct, criminal damage to property and intimidation of a victim in the 800 block of 20th Avenue. West was jailed pending court.
On Sunday, Feb. 23:
Jesse A. Partridge, 21, Monroe, was arrested at 5:17 p.m. for a warrant issued through the Rock County Sheriff's Department for failure to pay a fine. Partridge was jailed pending court. According to court records, Partridge owes the Rock County Circuit Court $298.50.
Thomas A. Mclean, 26, Monroe, was arrested at 7:41 p.m. for domestic abuse-related disorderly conduct. Mclean posted a cash bond and was released. Rebecca l. Eberle, 26, Monroe, was issued a misdemeanor citation for obstructing an officer in the 1800 block of 12th Street at the time of Mclean's arrest.
Lafayette County Sheriff
DARLINGTON - On Monday, Feb. 24:
A deputy responded at 5:35 p.m. to reports of a dog running at large on Riverside Road, Wiota Township.
A male subject was warned by a deputy not to return to a residence on Mullen Road, following a complaint of an unwanted person at the residence. The male had fled the scene before the deputy arrived. Contact was made at a residence at 9:39 p.m. on Aetna road where he was warned.
Deputies assisted Darlington Police with a stolen vehicle complaint at 11:10 p.m. at Super 8 Hotel on Christensen Drive, Darlington. The 2006 Chrysler van had been left running in the parking lot with keys in the ignition. The matter remains under investigation.
A deputy responded to a suspicious vehicles complaint on County KK, Gratiot Township, at 11:41 p.m. The deputy was able to locate one of the vehicles, which was disabled. The vehicle was tagged for removal within 24 hours.
Green County Sheriff
MONROE - Justin T. Douglas, 23, Monroe, was arrested at 4:18 p.m. Monday Feb. 24, on a Green County warrant for theft and bail jumping. Douglas was jailed pending court.
Darlington Police
DARLINGTON - Gilberto Bucio-Avila, 39, Darlington, was arrested at 1:45 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 22 for drunk driving, fifth offense, and operating without a driver's license following a traffic stop on Main Street. Bucio-Avila was also arrested for a warrant issued out of Santa Clara County, Calif. He remains jailed.
On Sunday, Feb. 23:
Romeo, Dejesus Villatoro-Martinez, 27, Darlington, was arrested at 5:05 a.m. for driving drunk, second offense, and operating while revoked following a traffic crash investigation on Ohio Street. Villatoro-Martinez was also cited for operating a motor vehicle without a valid driver's license, causing property damage and failing to have vehicle insurance. He was released pending court.
Lisa r. Saucedo, 28, Darlington, was cited at 3 p.m. for driving with a suspended license, third offense, following a traffic crash investigation on Ohio Street. She was released pending court.
Daniel Fleege, 35, Darlington, was cited at 12:05 p.m. Monday, Feb. 24, for possession of drug paraphernalia following police contact at a residence on Keep Street.
