Monroe Police

MONROE - A resident in the 1600 block of 14th Avenue reported at 11:25 p.m. Monday, Feb. 11, that a male acquaintance stole her purse and Internet modem out of her home.

• A woman reported at 11:53 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12, that a woman she knows fraudulently accessed her account at Anchor Bank, 1712 12th St.

• A man reported at 1:57 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12, that he saw a male driver throw garbage out of a vehicle on the downtown Square. He gave police the license plate number.

• Two stray Boxer-type dogs were reported found in the 1800 block of 27th Street at 11:48 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13. The Green County Humane Society was contacted.

• A business owner in the 200 block of 10th 1/2 Street complained at 4:38 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, that another business owner in the area is allowing a cat to roam at large. The cat owner was warned to keep the animal on a leash or find another place to let it out.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Michael A. Rothenbuehler, 21, Argyle, was taken into custody at the Green County Justice Center at 4:13 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, on a warrant for failure to pay child support. He was jailed pending court.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - A deputy responded to a civil dispute on Wisconsin 11 in the Town of Gratiot at 12 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13.
