ALBANY POLICE

ALBANY - On Saturday:

• Heidi M. Hammond, 20, Rockford, was cited for driving without a valid license.

• Dustin D. Schmid, 23, Albany, was cited for permitting an unauthorized person to drive and driving without vehicle insurance.

• Makayla N. Schaitel, 19, Monroe, was cited for driving without vehicle insurance.



BRODHEAD POLICE

BRODHEAD - For the week of Nov. 27 to Dec. 3, there were 32 citizen assists, 18 vehicle registrations, 15 security checks, 14 calls for service, 11 assists of other agencies, 10 traffic stops, 10 calls to 911, 10 EMS calls, and five fire calls.

On Nov. 27, a 24-year-old Janesville man was cited at 11:32 a.m. for speeding in the N200 block of 1st Center Avenue.

On Nov. 28, a 25-year-old Brodhead man was arrested at 11:42 p.m. for disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property in the 1600 block of 20th Street.

On Nov. 29:

• Damage to property was reported at 2:58 a.m. after a broken vehicle window was found on a vehicle in the 300 block of 23rd Street.

• Truancy was reported at 9:12 am. in the 1400 block of 21st Street.

• Truancy was reported at 10:28 a.m. in the 2500 block of West 5th Avenue.

• A 26-year-old Oregon man was cited at 11:14 a.m. for two counts of disorderly conduct after he made threatening comments to two people via social media.

On Wednesday:

• Damage to property was reported at 2:01 p.m. in the 400 block of East 4th Avenue.

• A parking violation was reported at 1:45 p.m. in the 300 block of 12th Street.

On Thursday:

• Truancy was reported at 8:36 a.m. in the 2100 block of West 9th Avenue.

• Truancy was reported at 2:02 p.m. in the 2500 block of West 5th Avenue.

On Friday, harassing telemarketing calls were reported at 2:18 p.m. in the 200 block of 14th Street.

On Saturday:

• A 39-year-old Durand, Illinois, woman was arrested at 1 a.m. for driving while intoxicated and making an unsafe lane deviation in the 1700 block of East 9th Avenue.

• A parking violation was reported at 4:09 p.m. in the 1000 block of West 2nd Avenue.

• Damage to property was reported at 5:01 p.m. in the 100 block of 15th Street.



MONROE POLICE

MONROE - Felicia L. Lean, 30, Monroe, was arrested at 8:50 p.m. Sunday for obstructing an officer during an incident on Saturday when she assisted a passenger in her vehicle in giving false information to an officer. Lean was released pending court.



NEW GLARUS POLICE

NEW GLARUS - On Nov. 28:

• A dead squirrel was reported at 10:51 a.m. in the 100 block of 6th Avenue.

• Police cited a vehicle at 9:32 p.m. for improper parking in the 400 block of 2nd Street.

On Nov. 29:

• Police issued approximately 20 warnings for alternate-side parking violations throughout the village.

• Police received a lost cell phone at 1:35 p.m. that had been found near the intersection of 11th Avenue and 3rd Street.

• Several citizens were warned for trespassing at 7:11 p.m. after they were reported playing Pokemon Go at the New Glarus Brewery.

• Suspicious circumstances were reported at 9:41 p.m. at the elementary school.

• Charles N. Burton, 46, New Glarus, was cited at 10:20 p.m. for driving with open intoxicants in the 500 block of Windlach Street. He was cited again at 11:08 p.m. for driving without a valid license and without vehicle insurance.

On Wednesday:

• Police issued approximately 10 warnings for alternate-side parking violations throughout the village.

• Police cited a vehicle at 2:10 a.m. for parking after hours in the 10 block of 6th Avenue.

• Police assisted at a child-custody issue at 6:23 p.m. in the 10 block of 14th Avenue.

On Thursday:

• Police issued six alternate-side parking warnings throughout the village.

• Police found an ID badge at 8:24 p.m. in the 300 block of 2nd Street. The item was returned to its owner.

• Police assisted a driver at 11:02 p.m. with a vehicle in the 400 block of 2nd Street.

On Friday:

• A child-custody issue was reported at 2:28 p.m.

• A possibly injured bird was reported at 4:24 p.m. on County W. The bird was found to be an uninjured hawk that was feeding on a deer carcass.

• Police cited a vehicle at 7:32 p.m. for improper parking in the 400 block of 2nd Street.

• Police stood by at 8:24 p.m. for a child-custody exchange in the 1400 block of Wisconsin 69.

On Saturday:

• Police issued approximately 25 warnings for alternate-side parking violations throughout the village.

• A civil matter regarding possession of a cell phone was reported at 3:17 p.m.

On Sunday:

• Police issued approximately 30 warnings for alternate-side parking violations throughout the village.

• A dog running at large was reported at 8:51 p.m. in the 300 block of 2nd Street.



GREEN COUNTY SHERIFF

MONROE - On Friday, Dakota Christopher J. Lorenz, 23, South Wayne, was cited for speeding, non-registration of a vehicle, driving without vehicle insurance and with a revoked license in the N5400 block of Wis. 69, Town of Washington.

On Saturday:

• Douglas B. Scace, 46, Monroe, was arrested at 4:36 p.m. for a probation violation in the W8200 block of Wis. 11, Town of Cadiz.

• A trespasser was reported at 6:18 p.m. in the N1700 block of Mount Hope Road, Town of Spring Grove.



LAFAYETTE COUNTY SHERIFF

DARLINGTON - On Friday:

• A domestic dispute was reported at 2:24 a.m. on Elm Street in Argyle.

• Livestock on the roadway were reported at 2:24 a.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Shullsburg.

• Livestock on the roadway were reported at 4:05 a.m. on County U, Town of Seymour.

• Disorderly conduct was reported at 3:57 p.m. on West Grove Street in South Wayne.

• A deputy checked an individual's welfare at 5:25 p.m. on South Judgement Street in Shullsburg.

• A civil dispute was reported at 6:05 p.m. on East Main Street in Benton.

• A theft was reported at 6:20 p.m. on School Street in Blanchardville.

• Deputies checked an individual's welfare at 7:26 p.m. on 1st Street in Benton.

On Saturday:

• Troy A. Mitchell, 53, Cassville, was cited at 1:26 a.m. for possession of THC on Wis. 11, Town of Shullsburg.

• A 911 hang-up occurred at 10:43 a.m. on Kingsley Road, Town of Gratiot.

• An injured animal on the roadway was reported at 1:21 p.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Willow Springs.

• A deputy checked an individual's welfare at 1:57 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Gratiot.

• Criminal damage to property was reported at 2:45 p.m. on River Road, Town of Argyle.

• A deputy provided traffic control at 4:25 p.m. on Main Street in Darlington.

• Jason A. J. Hakim, 26, Beloit, was cited at 8:46 p.m. for driving with a revoked license and failing to install an ignition interlock device.

• A deputy assisted the Darlington Police at 9:28 p.m. with a probation and parole arrest on Main Street. Tyler J. Meyer, 31, Blanchardville, was jailed.

• Deputies assisted the Darlington Police at 10:33 p.m. with a 911 hang-up on Main Street in Darlington.

On Sunday:

• Livestock on the roadway were reported at 2:20 on Schweitzer Lane, Town of Willow Springs.

• A deputy assisted the Darlington Police at 5:55 a.m. with a lift assist on West Lucy Street in Darlington.

• Travis J. Halvorson, 35, Mineral Point, was arrested 8:40 a.m. for disorderly conduct after a domestic dispute on Ballard Road, Town of Willow Springs.

• A deputy assisted the Blanchardville Police at 1:26 p.m. on East Hill Street.

• A 911 hang-up occurred at 5:45 p.m. on County O, Town of Shullsburg.

• Deputies checked an individual's welfare at 6:46 p.m. on Buncombe Road, Town of Benton.

• A 911 hang-up occurred at 10:54 p.m. on County F, Town of Seymour.
