BRODHEAD - For the week of Dec. 6 to 12, there were 119 calls for service, 27 citizen assists, 16 registrations, 10 assists of other agencies, eight security checks, six traffic stops, six EMS calls, three 911 calls and two fire calls.
On Dec. 6:
An 18-year-old Monroe woman was cited at 6:47 p.m. in the 1300 block of 1st Center Avenue for driving with a suspended license.
A noise ordinance violation was reported at 11:02 p.m. in the 1500 block of West 2nd Avenue. Police issued a verbal warning to the offender.
On Dec. 7:
A fraudulent credit card purchase was reported at 9:40 a.m. in the 600 block of 8th Street. Police are seeking a suspect to question.
A dog at large was reported at 10:51 a.m. in the 1500 block of 11th Street. The animal was found and returned to its owner, who was given a verbal warning.
An animal at large was reported at 1:45 p.m. in the 2000 block of West 6th Avenue. The owner was issued a verbal warning.
On Wednesday, an animal at large was reported at 2:54 p.m. in the 2000 block of West 6th Avenue. The owner was issued a verbal warning.
On Thursday:
Four cases of truancy were reported at 8:10 a.m. in the 2500 block of West 5th Avenue. Police contacted responsible parties in each case and issued verbal warnings to the offenders.
Police investigated a downed cable line at 10:27 a.m. in the 600 block of East 6th Avenue. It was found that a delivery truck had caught the line.
A medical prescription was reported stolen at 2:02 p.m. in the 700 block of 17th Street. Police are seeking a suspect to question.
On Friday:
Police issued a warning at 1:06 p.m. to an individual shooting a BB gun in the city limits in the 2100 block of West 5th Avenue.
A barking dog was reported at 7:58 p.m. in the 1200 block of East 9th Avenue. A warning was issued to the owner.
On Saturday, police issued a warning at 6:06 p.m. to the driver of a bus parked in the 1400 block of West 3rd Avenue.
NEW GLARUS POLICE
NEW GLARUS - On Dec. 7, Ashley S. Preston Thompson, 21, Evansville, was cited at 6:54 p.m. for driving with a suspended license and without vehicle insurance in the 200 block of County W.
On Dec. 8:
Police assisted the Monticello Police at 12:08 a.m. with investigating unsecure premises.
Police investigated suspicious activity at 1:01 a.m. in the 1400 block of 2nd Street. It was found that the owner of a business was just leaving work late.
Police issued approximately 10 written warnings for alternate-side parking violations.
Police took a citizen's fingerprints at 6 a.m. to assist in his U.S. Visa application.
On Thursday:
Police checked an individual's welfare at 9:45 a.m. after someone reported receiving a suspicious phone call. Upon investigation, everything was found to be fine.
Police fingerprinted a citizen at 2:30 p.m. for an employment position.
On Friday:
Police responded at 11:19 a.m. to a 911 call in the 300 block of Elmer Road. Upon arrival, it was discovered that the call was made accidentally.
Police assisted the Madison Police at 7:40 p.m. with an active investigation.
Police removed a pile of tree limbs from the roadway at 10:06 p.m. in the 800 block of 3rd Avenue.
On Sunday:
Police issued approximately 15 warnings for alternate-side parking violations.
GREEN COUNTY SHERIFF
MONROE - Nicholas D. Gille, 37, Monroe, was arrested at 4:24 p.m. Sunday in the N3600 block of County J, Town of Monroe, for two counts of bail jumping after deputies investigated reports of a possibly intoxicated driver. Gille was jailed pending court.

Jeremy M. Winger, 29, Dubuque, Iowa, was arrested at 12:28 p.m. on a Dubuque Police warrant after deputies responded to a civil dispute on County J in Benton. During the same incident, Jenny M. Rogers, 31, Benton, was arrested on a probation and parole violation. Both were jailed.
