MONROE - Kenneth C. Greve, 28, Monroe, was arrested in the 500 block of 21st Street at 6:48 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 7, on an outstanding warrant issued by the Green County Sheriff's Department. He was jailed pending court.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Wednesday, Aug. 7:

• Chad S. Bergemann, 28, Monroe, was arrested on a charge of driving while under the influence after a deputy responded at 11:30 a.m. to a request for a welfare check of several people sitting in a parked vehicle at a business on West Milwaukee Avenue in Argyle. Bergemann was later released to a responsible party.

• Susan R. Helton, 24, Boscobel, was transported from the Richland County Jail to the Lafayette County Jail for a Department of Corrections probation hold. She remains jailed.

• Retail theft was reported at 2:53 a.m. at a business on West Moundview Avenue in Belmont. A suspect vehicle was identified.

• Animal neglect was reported at 3:39 p.m. on Pecatonica Road in Darlington Township.

• A gas drive-off was reported at 6:12 p.m. at a station on Miner Way in Shullsburg. A deputy stopped the suspect vehicle in Benton, and the matter was cleared.
