Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Benjamin M. Chicker, 24, Monticello, was cited for operating after revocation at 4:12 p.m. Tuesday after police stopped him in the W3500 block of Wisconsin 59 in the Town of Sylvester. He was released pending court.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Tuesday:

• Douglas Popp, 52, Belmont, was arrested and jailed for operating while intoxicated after a one-vehicle crash at 10:50 p.m. on County G in the Town of Belmont. Popp reportedly went through a stop sign and landed in a ditch. His vehicle sustained minor damage and was towed.

• A residential burglary alarm went off at 4:09 a.m. on Dobbs Road in the Town of Lamont.

• Police provided traffic control at 10 a.m. on Wis. 11 in Benton.

• A noise complaint was reported at 11:55 a.m. on Swanson Road in the Town of Wayne.

• Police responded at 3:49 p.m. to a 911 hang up on Garden Road in the Town of New Diggings.

• A civil dispute was reported at 6:11 p.m. on County I in the Town of New Diggings.

• A residential alarm went off at 11:47 p.m. on Dobbs Road in the Town of Lamont.
