MONROE - On Wednesday, Aug. 21:

• A rear side window was reported broken at 1:08 a.m. on a minivan parked in the 1300 block of 17th Street.

• As the result of a 911 call at 8:05 a.m., police responded to the 200 block of 11th Avenue to help a man lift his wife off the floor. No ambulance was needed.

• Harassing texts between two women were reported at 8:39 a.m. in the 1700 block of 30th Avenue. Both were told to stop texting each other.

• A 911 caller at 10:13 a.m. reported a dispute she was having with her boyfriend in the 1300 block of 16th Street. He allegedly threw water at her. No one was cited or arrested.

• A stray black and white male cat was reported at 6:10 p.m. in the 2100 block of 11th Avenue.

On Thursday, Aug. 22:

• An officer on patrol at 7:53 a.m. noted out-of-control weeds in a yard in the 2000 block of 11th Street. The weeds had reached heights of 3 to 4 feet. A warning notice was left for the property owner.

• An allegation of child abuse that occurred outside Green County to a Monroe child was reported at 11:53 a.m. Police are investigating.

• A Mongoose bicycle was recovered in the 2400 block of 10th Street and brought at 1:03 p.m. to the police station, where it can be identified and claimed.

• Vandalism to a vehicle was reported at 1:25 p.m. in the 1700 block of 17th Street. The complainant told police the damage occurred the previous day.

• Police were called at 9:10 p.m. to a dispute between an elderly resident at Monroe Manor, 516 26th Ave., and her daughter. Police are still investigating.

• An elderly woman in the 1700 block of 15th Street called 911 at 9:44 p.m. because her son is in the hospital and she didn't have the phone number for the hospital.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - On Thursday, Aug. 22:

• Alex J. Meives, 28, Browntown, was arrested in New Glarus at 7 a.m. on charges of battery, disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property, stemming from a domestic dispute reported the previous day at 4:43 p.m. in Browntown. He was jailed.

• Alex L. Mulcahey, 22, Sun Prairie, was cited for driving with a suspended license and vehicle registration, failing to obey a closed-road traffic sign and having an uninsured vehicle, after deputies responded to a construction site at the intersection of Wisconsin 104 and 59 in Albany Township at 9:21 p.m. for a report of a vehicle stuck in the ditch in a construction zone.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Thursday, Aug. 22:

• Timothy A. Heinze, 35, Shullsburg, was arrested on charges of domestic abuse-related battery and criminal damage to property at 10:17 p.m. at a residence on East Main Street in Shullsburg. He was jailed.

• Michael J. Marty, 22, South Wayne, was cited for unreasonable and imprudent speeding and driving without proof of vehicle insurance at 12:21 p.m. on Center Street in South Wayne.

• Deputies responded to a residence on Hillside Lane in Darlington at 11:56 a.m. to assist the Darlington Police Department with a complaint of several out-of-control juveniles.

• Illegal dumping or littering was reported at 1:25 p.m. on County D in Wayne Township.

• The theft of several items from a garage on County K in Gratiot Township was reported at 4:01 p.m.
