Green County Sheriff

MONROE - On Tuesday:

• Michael E. Cavin, 24, Monroe, was cited at 3:15 a.m. for following too close after deputies stopped his vehicle for a moving violation in the N7700 block of Wisconsin 69, New Glarus Township. Robert J. Trageser, 25, Monroe, a passenger in the vehicle was cited for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Both were released pending court. Police K-9 unit Auggie assisted at the scene.

• Bruce A. Bresath, 55, Monroe, was arrested at 7:58 a.m. on a probation hold at the probation parole office at the Green County Justice Center. Bresath was jailed pending court.

• Jared W. Monte Hayden, 17, Juda, was arrested at 5:23 a.m. in the W2900 block of Washington Street, Jefferson Township, on an Albany Police Department warrant. He was jailed, where he posted bond and was released.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Tuesday:

• A deputy responded to a report of livestock in the roadway at 3:43 a.m. on County D, Fayette Township.

• A deputy responded at 8:20 a.m. to a report of hit-and-run that caused property damage on County A, Shullsburg Township. The incident remains under investigation.

• A deputy responded to a traffic complaint at 12:23 p.m. on Wis. 81, Argyle Township.

• A deputy responded to a report of a dog running at large at 5:19 p.m. on County XX, Belmont Township.

• Kenneth C. Greve Jr., 29, Monroe, was cited at 7:03 p.m. for driving after suspension following a traffic stop on Wis. 23, Darlington Township.

• A deputy responded at 10 p.m. to a noise complaint on County K, Darlington Township.
