Monroe Police

MONROE - Jay P. Pitney, 45, Davis, Ill., was arrested at 9:22 p.m. Thursday in the 1300 block of 31st Avenue for an outstanding warrant issued by the Brodhead Police Department. Pitney posted bond and was released into custody.

• Derek J. Rose, 17, Orangeville, was arrested at 11:54 p.m. Thursday in the 1500 block of 14th Avenue for driving while under the influence of an intoxicant or controlled substance. Rose was released pending a court appearance.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Anthony M. Watson, 19, Fennimore, was arrested for first-offense driving while under the influence of alcohol at 5:48 p.m. Thursday on Marshall Bluff Road south of Exeter Crossing Road in the Town of Exeter, following a traffic stop. Watson was cited for driving with prohibited alcohol content, underage person transporting intoxicants in a vehicle, driving without a valid driver's license, driving left of center and driving without required liability insurance. A passenger in the vehicle, Hans R. Marty, 17, Monticello, was cited for underage consumption of alcohol and possession of open intoxicants in a motor vehicle. Both were released pending their initial court appearances.

• Angel Garcia-Jimenez, 19, Brodhead, was arrested at 2:16 a.m. Thursday on Wisconsin 11/81 in the Town of Jefferson, for an outstanding arrest warrant issued by the Green County Circuit Court for failing to appear in curt on a second offense of driving without a valid driver's license charge, following an investigation of an occupied vehicle at a closed business. Garcia-Jimenez was held in Green County Jail pending additional court proceedings.
