Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Michael Fricks, 24, Monroe, was arrested at 12:18 p.m. on Wednesday, April 16, at the Green County Justice Center on a Department of Corrections probation and parole warrant. He was jailed pending court.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Wednseday, April 16:

• A deputy responded to Wisconsin 23, Willow Springs Township, at 1:50 a.m. to check on an injured deer and confirm that the animal was off the roadway.

• Deputies were led on a short chase after a 16-year-old boy left Benton Schools. The boy was eventually located and stopped in the Platteville area after a chase on U.S. 151. The boy was turned over to a parent at about 9:06 a.m.

• A deputy responded to a child custody dispute at 3:02 p.m. at a residence on Peace Street, Shullsburg.

• A deputy responded at 8:15 p.m. to a 911 hang-up call from a location on North State Street, Argyle. The call was determined to be a misdial.

• A deputy assisted a motorist by unlocking a vehicle at 10:15 p.m. at a location in Dawn Vista Terrace, Belmont.



Darlington Police

DARLINGTON - Lidia Y. Flores-Flores, 33, Darlington, was arrested at 8:13 a.m. Wednesday, April 16, for driving without a license, 3rd or greater offense, following a traffic stop on Division Street.
