Sean R. Schmelzer, 21, Brodhead, was cited for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, fourth offense, and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop around 9 p.m. Wednesday in the 1400 block of 17th Avenue. He was released pending court.

DARLINGTON - A 16-year-old male was taken into custody around 10:50 a.m. Wednesday after making threats to injure another student at Shullsburg Schools. The juvenile was transported to Rock County Juvenile Detention Center while the incident is being investigated.
Peter J. Emery, 26, and Tyler J. Berget, 24, both of Argyle, were cited for open intoxicants in a motor vehicle around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday on Valley Road in Argyle township.
Sean C. Vaade, 18, New Glarus, was transported to Lafayette County Jail after being taken into custody by Monroe Police Department on a valid Lafayette County warrant. He remains jailed
