Paul Michael Lamp, age 69, of Juda, died on Friday, May 12, 2017 at his home. He was born on April 22, 1948, in Parkersburg, West Virginia the son of Alexander and Buelah (Lange) Lamp. Paul was united in marriage to Sherri Recoy on April 29, 1966 in Lanark, IL.
Paul worked as a janitor at Advance Transformers, through Green-Co, for many years. He enjoyed fishing, mowing the yard; he especially enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Sherri Lamp of Juda; children, Renee (Kenneth) Eberle of Monroe, Susan (Brad) Renken of Monticello, and Michael Lamp of Monroe; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Dennis (Katie) Recoy; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at the SHRINER HAGER GOHLKE Funeral Home with Charles Lamp officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00pm until the time of service at the funeral home on Tuesday.
