Patricia E. Youngwith, 81, passed away on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born on December 19th, 1933, in Beloit, WI., to Francis and Jane (McBride) Ryan. She graduated from Beloit High in 1952. She worked at Freeman Shoes from 1952-1954 and was employed at The Swiss Colony for 23 years. She was a member of St. Clare of Assisi Parish at St. Victor Catholic Church.
Patricia is survived by her husband, Richard; five loving children, Richard (Janice) of Carol Stream, IL, Teresa (Rick) Babcock of Lewisburg, MO, Cynthia (Phil) Vangsnes of Green Bay, WI, Douglas (Nerida) of Wauwatosa, WI, and Marcy (Todd) Brayko, of Monroe, and 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Bill and a sister Mary.
To Pat, family was always the most important thing in life. Her favorite times were when the family could all be together and share some laughter. She was an avid cookie baker and was famous for her Molasses cookies, Outrageous cookies and her fruitcake. She enjoyed sewing projects for the grandchildren. These are a few wonderful things about Mom. She met every challenge life gave her with only a courage that could be admired and with strong faith. She will be very missed by all, especially her loving children.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at Shriner-Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home with Fr. Larry Bakke Celebrant.
Visitation will be Monday, November 30th from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Memorials may be donated to the Apostolate to the Handicapped.
