WINSLOW - Pamela S. Smith, age 48, passed away on Saturday December 19, 2009 at FHN Memorial Hospital. She was born on January 1, 1961 to Everett and Helen (Higgins) Anson in Beloit, WI. She was employed as a cashier for the Indian Creek Exchange in Winslow, IL.

Pamela loved her dogs and livestock. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She and her fiancé enjoyed taking day trips on the weekends and also looking for antiques.

Pamela is survived by her fiancé, Leo Heimann of Winslow, IL; three children, Erin (Derrick) Youtzy of Lena, IL, Karl Smith of Rockford, IL and Adam Smith of Winslow, IL; five step-children, Jeremy (Brenda) Heimann of Waddams Grove, IL, Chad Heimann of Monroe, WI, Adam and (Amanda) Heimann of Lena, IL, Brooke and (Greg) Heimann of Brodhead, WI and Brandi Heimann of Monroe, WI.; mother and stepfather, Helen (Bill) Swanson of Apple River, IL; 10 grandchildren; one brother, Jeff Anson of Apple River, IL; two sisters, Terry (Don) Abbot of Roscoe, IL and Laura "Mike" (Glen) Bennett of Davis Junction, IL.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday December 26, 2009 at the Leamon Funeral Home in Lena, IL.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. till 1 p.m. on Saturday December 26, 2009 at the Leamon Funeral Home in Lena, IL

Burial will be at Silent Hill Cemetery in McConnell, IL.

A memorial has been established in her name.
