Nancy Lee (Stubbe) Strong, age 64 of Monroe, Wisconsin, died Monday June 22, 2009, at her home. She was born July 20, 1944 in Racine, WI, the daughter of Ben and Anna (Fritzler) Stubbe Sr. and attended Blackhawk High School in South Wayne, WI.
Nancy married James Fritzenmeier in 1966, Edward Paschal in 1970, and James R. Strong Jr. on November 28, 1992 at Orangeville, IL. Nancy was a Home Care provider for Preferred Living until retiring in 2009. She collected angels, enjoyed spending time with her pug "Sheldon," and with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Surviving are her husband, James R. Strong, Jr. of Monroe, WI; sons, Ed (Shauna) Paschal III of Monroe, WI and Terry Paschal of Monroe, WI; daughter, Renee Harmon of Lanark, IL; brother, Ben (Claire) Stubbe, Jr. of Valdosta, GA; sister, Alta (John) Stokowski of Milwaukee, WI; sister-in-law, Susan (Mike) Sciutto of Galena, IL; aunt, Josephine Stubbe of Warren, IL; five grandchildren, Cory (Amber) Fritzenmeier of Marion, NC, Melissa Brown of Clinton, IA, and Nicholas, Shane, and Jason Paschal of Monroe, WI; two great-grandchildren, Dreyvin and Emarie Fritzenmeier of Marion, NC; special friends, Robert Heins and family and Arlene "Mitzi" Parmer of Monroe, WI; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; two sisters, Velma Ditsworth and Shirley Butts; and a niece, Scheryl Ann Butts.
Funeral services will be held at noon Thursday, June 25, 2009 at SHRINER-HAGER-GOHLKE FUNERAL HOME, 1455 Mansion Drive and 18th Avenue in Monroe, WI with Rev. David Busker officiating. Burial will be at Chapel Hill Cemetery in Freeport, IL.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service at noon at the funeral home.
