MONROE - Justin W. Young, 24, Monroe, was sentenced to three years in prison Thursday, Sept. 22 after he was found guilty June 29 of manufacturing with the intent to deliver THC.
The charge, a class H felony, stems from a March 17, 2010 incident. Court records indicate that Young had 237 grams of THC in the form of marijuana.
He was sentenced to three years in state prison, three years of extended supervision, four years of probation and fined $612.
Young was also sentenced Thursday, Sept. 22 after he was found guilty June 29 of a charge of burglary, a class F felony, stemming from an April 29, 2010 incident.
Court records indicate that Young entered a dwelling in the 2400 block of 4th Street without the consent of the residents with the intent to steal.
He was sentenced to three years in state prison, which is to be served concurrently with the THC charge; three years of extended supervision, also to be served concurrently with the THC charge; four years of probation; and fined $2,365.
