Matthew N. Cline, age 26, of Argyle, WI, passed away Monday, March 4, 2013, as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident near Lancaster, WI. He was born February 13, 1987 in Darlington, WI, the son of Philip and Christine (Martin) Cline. Matt graduated from Argyle High School in 2005. He lived in Argyle his entire life.
Matt is survived by his son: Parker Cline of Darlington; his parents: Phil and Chris Cline of Argyle; one sister: Mary Cline of Arlington, VA; his girlfriend; Caitlin Mattern of Fitchburg, WI; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: John "Jack" and Marilyn Cline; his maternal grandparents: Harold and Evelyn Martin; and several aunts and uncles.
Matt was a lifetime member of the North American Fisherman. He loved spending time with his son and being outdoors, hunting and fishing. Matt was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching the Milwaukee Brewers and Green Bay Packers.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, March 9, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 104 E. Harriet Street in Darlington with Rev. Randy Budnar officiating. Burial will be in Holy Rosary Cemetery in Darlington. A visitation will be held Friday, March 8, 2013, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, where a rosary service will be held at 4:00 p.m. The Erickson Funeral Home in Argyle is serving the family.
