LENA - Marvin Felix Tengowski, 78, of Lena passed away on Thursday November, 17, 2011 at the Lena Living Center. He was born on March 9, 1933 in Green Valley, WI, to Rose Tengowski. Marvin served his country in the United States Army from 1954 to 1955. On December 27, 1973 he was married to Joan (Arndt) Schultz in Monroe, WI. He farmed in the Browntown, WI area until 1967. He was employed later by Kelly Springfield and worked in the mold and bladder rear farm tire department for 27 years. He retired on March 31, 1995. Marvin enjoyed camping, traveling, woodworking, gardening and being with his family. He was also a member of the Good Sam Stagecoach Campers club for 11 years.

He is survived by his wife Joan of Lena, IL, 4 sons; Marty Tengowski of Suffolk, VA, Scott Tengowski of WI. Kevin (Becky) Tengowski of Ashland, KY, Eric (Bobby Jo) Tengowski of Monroe, WI, 2 daughters; Penny Berget of WI, Amy (Brad) Barnett of Pigeon Forge, TN, 2 step-daughters; Patty (Keith) Keller of York, PA, Kathleen (Paul Murphy) Schultz of Cedarville, IL. 1 stepson; Randal (Lou) Schultz of Crab Orchard, NE. 11 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, 4 step-great grandchildren and 2 nieces, 1 half brother; Bernard Bochantin of McHenry, IL.

He was preceded in death by 2 sons; Michael and Mark Tengowski, his mother Rose (Tengowski) Bochantin, sister; Janet Szslick and a step daughter Sandra Schultz.

Cremation Rites will be accorded and a burial at Lena Burial Park will be held at a later date.

There will be no visitation or services at this time.

A memorial has been established in his memory and cards of condolences may be sent Joan.
