ORANGEVILLE - Marian C. Walter, age 94, passed away on Friday June 20, 2014. He was born on April 9, 1920 in Buckeye Township to Clarence and Alta (Burkhalt) Walter. He married Verda F. Hurless on April 9, 1941. He farmed his entire life on the family farm in the Orangeville area. He enjoyed the auction house in Dixon, IL and also enjoyed rebuilding red wagons. He was a member of the Orangeville United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his daughter Maureen Walter of Arizona and son Marlow (Millie) Walter of Orangeville, IL, grandchildren and great-grandchildren; Tricia (Mike) Ferguson, Kristi, Daniel, Brandon and Teagan, Scott (Heidi) Walter, Kyle, Kourtney and Kraig, Jeff (Emily) Walter and Jillian, Mitch Robinson and Amy Jo Walter, Andy Turpin.

Marian was preceded in death by his parents, wife and great-granddaughter Angelina.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday June 24, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Cramer-Leamon Funeral Home in Orangeville.

Visitation will be on Monday June 23, 2014 from 6:00 till 8:00 PM at the Cramer-Leamon Funeral Home.

Rev. Steve Barr will officiate.

Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery.

A memorial has been established for Monroe Hospice.
