MONROE - A jury found a Monroe man not guilty Thursday in Green County Circuit Court of charges related to a sexual assault complaint.

Tony L. Helmeid, 42, was found not guilty of two counts of sexual assault of a child, both class C felonies; two counts of child enticement, both class D felonies; and two counts of exposing himself to a child, both class A misdemeanors.

He faced more than 130 years in prison and $420,000 in fines.

Court records indicated he allegedly exposed himself to a 14-year-old girl, touched her and asked her to touch him at a Monroe residence in August 2004.
