DARLINGTON/LAMONT TOWNSHIP - Lorena M. Geissbuhler, age 85, of Lamont Township, WI died on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at Lafayette Manor in Darlington, WI. She was born in Willow Springs Township, WI on June 3, 1926 to Owen and Mary (Meylor) Schmitz.
On October 1, 1949, Lorena married Hans O. Geissbuhler at Holy Rosary Catholic Church Rectory. Her family and friends were a very important part in her life. She was a 4 H Lamont Hustler leader where she taught knitting and crocheting. She loved to play golf and euchre.
She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and of its Council of Catholic Women. She was a 60 year member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas where she served as Regent. She was also a member of the Darlington Country Club and the Alley Kats Bowling Team.

8 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 5 step great-grandchildren, three sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, John Geissbuhler on June 1, 1991, a son-in-law: Jim Rickard and her brother: W. Edward Schmitz.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 AM on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at HOLY ROSARY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 104 E. Harriet Street, Darlington, WI, with Fr. Randy Budnar officiating. Burial will follow at Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3:00 - 7:00 pm on Monday, January 23, 2012 at STEIL CAMACHO FUNERAL HOME, 206 E. Harriet Street, Darlington, WI, where a Catholic Daughters of Americas Rosary will be prayed at 4:00 PM.
