DARLINGTON — On Aug. 11:

●  Livestock on the roadway was reported at 7:13 p.m. on East Lamont Road, Town of Lamont.

●  Disorderly conduct was reported at 8:03 p.m. on County F, Town of Seymour. Darlington police assisted under mutual aid.

●  A woman screaming out her apartment window at people on the street was reported at 9:07 p.m. on West Center Street in South Wayne. It is an ongoing issue.

●  A deputy assisted Belmont police with an alarm at 9:11 p.m. on Hazel Street in Belmont.

●  Nicole A. Becker, 34, Beloit, was arrested on a Lafayette County warrant at 10:24 p.m. after a deputy located a disabled vehicle on Wis. 11, Town of Wayne. She posted bond and was released.

On Aug. 13:

●  A deputy responded to check welfare at 3:09 a.m. on County XX, Town of Belmont.

●  A disabled vehicle was reported at 3:18 p.m. on County K, Town of Darlington.

●  A dog running at large was reported at 7:07 p.m. on County G, Town of Willow Springs. Stephanie J. Weipert, 37, Mineral Point, was cited for allowing a dog to run at large.

On Aug. 14:

●  Livestock on the roadway was reported at 2:29 a.m. on County D, Town of Wiota and at 9:08 a.m. on County K, Town of Darlington.

●  An injured animal was reported at 9:52 a.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Shullsburg. Shullsburg police assisted.

●  A vehicle lockout was reported at 1:38 p.m. on Wis. 78, Town of Gratiot.

●  A 911 misdial was reported at 2:13 p.m. on County XX, Town of Belmont.

●  A deputy assisted Grant County Sheriff’s Office at 2:53 p.m. on County XX in Grant County.

●  Shawna L. Busker, 32, Lena, Illinois, was cited for passing in a no passing zone at 3:34 p.m. on County P, Town of Monticello.

●  Paul E. Schindler, 33, Freeport, Illinois, was cited for speeding at 6:19 p.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Darlington.

●  Brittney L. Chappell, 31, Mineral Point, was cited for violating the 30mph speed limit for an ATV/UTV at 10:06 p.m. on County G, Town of Fayette.

●  Peter J. Parkinson, 59, Darlington, was arrested on a charge of operating while intoxicated on an ATV/UTV at 10:49 p.m. on County F, Town of Fayette. He was transported to the Lafayette County Jail where he was released to a responsible party.

●  A juvenile problem was reported at 10:51 p.m. on East Milwaukee Street in Argyle.

●  A traffic complaint was reported at 10:54 p.m. on U.S. 151, Town of Belmont.

On Aug. 15:

●  Deputies responded to check welfare at 1 a.m. on South Verley Street in South Wayne and at 10:55 a.m. on Main Street in Gratiot.

●  An injured animal in the roadway was reported at 7:03 a.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Willow Springs.

●  Disorderly conduct was reported at 10:06 a.m. on West Center Street in South Wayne.

●  Livestock on the roadway was reported at 3:48 p.m. on County D, Town of Wiota.

●  Thomas M. Wall, 38, Dubuque, Iowa, was cited for violating the 30 mph speed limit for an ATV/UTV at 6:37 p.m. on Holland Road, Town of Darlington.

●  A deputy located a suspicious vehicle at 10:22 p.m. on County G, Town of Fayette. The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources assisted.

●  A deputy assisted Shullsburg police with a report of suspicious activity at 10:38 p.m. on North Judgement Street in Shullsburg.

●  Cody A. Nielsen, 19, Darlington, was arrested on charges of battery, disorderly conduct and resisting or obstructing an officer at about 11:44 p.m. on County D, Town of Fayette, related to a fight at an underage party in the county. Nielsen was booked at the jail and later released to a responsible party. The arrest came after a deputy stopped a car outside Fayette. A person in the car reported being the victim of battery during a fight that occurred at an underage party. The deputy anticipated issuing multiple citations for underage drinking related to the party. The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources assisted in the initial investigation.

On Aug. 16:

●  A deputy assisted Darlington police with a traffic stop at 12:30 a.m. on Ravine Street in Darlington.

●  A deputy assisted Darlington police with a welfare check at 1:48 a.m. on Ravine Street in Darlington.

●  A deputy assisted a citizen at 1:26 p.m. on Aetna Road, Town of New Diggings.

●  A vehicle lockout was reported at 2:22 p.m. on Mineral Road, Town of Darlington.

●  Jaime Luz-Velazquez, 39, Janesville, was cited for driving with a suspended license at 4:10 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Benton.

●  A deputy located livestock on the roadway at 5:19 p.m. on County K, Town of Darlington.

●  A 911 misdial was reported at 6:24 p.m. on Furnace Hill Road, Town of Willow Springs.

●  Disorderly conduct was reported at 7:54 p.m. on Galena Street in Argyle. The Green County Sheriff’s Office assisted.

●  A deputy assisted Darlington police with a welfare check at 10 p.m. on East Harriet Street in Darlington Green County EMS of Darlington assisted.

●  A 911 misdial was reported at 11:18 p.m. on South Galena Street in South Wayne.

On Aug. 17:

●  Deputies responded to check welfare at 12:11 a.m. on South Galena Street in South Wayne, at 4:48 a.m. on North State Street in Argyle and at 6:23 p.m. on Wis. 11 in Shullsburg.

●  Possible methamphetamine trash dumped in the ditch was reported at 9:10 a.m. on County P, Town of Gratiot. It turned out to be just regular trash.

●  A deputy assisted with traffic control at 9:12 a.m. on County M, Town of Wayne.

●  An erratic driver was reported at 6:46 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Wayne.

●  A 911 misdial was reported at 8:12 p.m. on Lake Road, Town of Argyle.

●  An ATV complaint was reported at 9:02 p.m. on Furnace Hill Road, Town of Willow Springs.

On Aug. 18:

●  A mailbox that had been run over was reported at 11:02 a.m. on County O, Town of Kendall.

●  A 911 misdial was reported at 2:12 p.m. on County W, Town of Benton.

●  Illegal dumping was reported at 2:54 p.m. on Crist Lane, Town of Darlington. Two semi tires had been dumped on the landowner’s brush pile without permission.

●  A domestic dispute was reported at 3:10 p.m. on Leahy Road, Town of Shullsburg.

●  An erratic driver was reported at 8:08 p.m. on County W, Town of Benton.

●  Harassment was reported at 10:41 p.m. on Mink Farm Road, Town of Wayne. A woman who had broken up with her boyfriend didn’t want him calling her anymore. A deputy determined the situation did not meet the threshold for a criminal harassment charge.

On Aug. 19:

●  An animal problem was reported at 8:23 a.m. on Wis. 78, Town of Gratiot.

●  Tina R. Davis, 42, Edgerton, was cited for speeding at 8:24 a.m. on Mullen Road, Town of Shullsburg.

●  A deputy assisted with traffic control at 11:19 a.m. on East Water Street in Shullsburg.

●  A deputy assisted with a vehicle unlock at 2:45 p.m. on Mound View Road, Town of Belmont.

●  A disabled vehicle was reported at 7:42 p.m. on County G, Town of Kendall. Belmont police assisted.

●  Found property was reported at 7:52 p.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Willow Springs.

●  Trespassing to property was reported at 8:53 p.m. on Wis. 11 in South Wayne. It involved a longstanding, ongoing dispute between two men.

On Aug. 20:

●  A traffic complaint was reported at 8:05 a.m. on Wis. 78, Town of Blanchard.

●  An animal complaint was reported at 9:58 a.m. on East Prospect Street in South Wayne.

●  A deputy responded to assist a citizen at 10:10 a.m. on County J, Town of Benton.

●  An animal problem was reported at 11:05 a.m. on County D, Town of Fayette.

●  A deputy assisted the Green County Sheriff’s Office at 11:31 a.m. on Jennings Road, Town of Wiota.

●  A juvenile problem was reported at 2:05 p.m. on South Van Buren Street in Benton. Shullsburg police assisted.

●  A traffic hazard involving tire debris on the roadway was reported at 4:06 p.m. on U.S. 151, Town of Belmont.

●  Deputies assisted Grant County Human Services at 5:22 p.m. on West Main Street in Benton. Cuba City police and Hazel Green police assisted.

●  A scam was reported at 7:50 p.m. on Jericho Road, Town of Belmont.

●  Lester J. Velasquez-Duarte, 16, Darlington, was cited for second-offense driving without a valid license at 10:33 p.m. on Bethel Grove Road, Town of Belmont.

On Aug. 21:

●  A deputy assisted Belmont police with a traffic stop at 1:40 a.m. on U.S. 151, Town of Belmont.

●  A 911 misdial was reported at 11:12 a.m. on Wis. 78, Town of Wayne.

●  A caller at 1:14 p.m. on County O, Town of Seymour, reported that someone had taken their UTV for a joyride, causing damage to the vehicle as well as to the owner’s bean field before returning it.

●  An injured animal in the roadway was reported at 4:20 p.m. on Riverside Road, Town of Gratiot.

●  Seth J. Hammer, 22, Apple River, Illinois, was cited for speeding at 6:08 p.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Gratiot.

●  Two juveniles were cited for operating an ATV on a highway at 6:30 p.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Darlington.

●  Maverick J. Seaton, 20, Pecatonica, Illinois, was cited for speeding at 6:37 p.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Darlington.

●  Trent J. Wingert, 23, Kent, Illinois, was cited for speeding at 7:01 p.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Darlington.

●  Benjamin L. Michael, 35, Warren, was cited for speeding at 7:27 p.m. on Ervin Johnson Drive, Town of Darlington.

On Aug. 22:

●  A missing camper was reported at 4:46 a.m. on Lake Road, Town of Fayette. Argyle Fire, Argyle EMS, Blanchardville Fire, Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and Green County Sheriff’s Office assisted. The camper returned to the campsite shortly after sunrise.

●  Deputies responded to check welfare at 5:54 a.m. on Miller Lane, Town of Wayne.

●  A deputy assisted a motorist at 10:12 a.m. on U.S. 151, Town of Belmont.

●  Livestock on the roadway was reported at 10:28 a.m. on County W, Town of New Diggings.

●  A deputy assisted with a vehicle unlock at 2:48 p.m. on Wis. 11 in South Wayne.

●  Threats between coworkers were reported at 3:39 p.m. on South Warren Street in South Wayne. One threatened the other to beat him up in the parking lot.

●  A 911 misdial was reported at 4:09 p.m. on West Alice Street in Darlington. Darlington police assisted.

●  James A. Rosemeyer, 65, Platteville, was cited for speeding at 4:33 p.m. on County W, Town of White Oak Springs.

●  A civil dispute was reported at 5:17 p.m. on Stub Lane, Town of Darlington.

●  An animal problem was reported at 6:44 p.m. on Prairie Road, Town of Seymour.

●  Illegal burning was reported at 7:27 p.m. on School Street, Town of Gratiot.

●  A traffic complaint was reported at 7:45 p.m. on South Division Street in South Wayne.

●  Rodney M. Enright, 61, Freeport, was cited for speeding at 8:20 p.m. on County W, Town of Shullsburg.

●  A 911 misdial was reported at 8:32 p.m. on Lake Road, Town of Fayette. The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources assisted.

●  A deputy responded to check welfare at 8:55 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Gratiot.

On Aug. 23:

●  A deputy assisted Darlington police with a traffic stop at 12:53 a.m. on Galena Street in Darlington.

●  Theft of political signs was reported at 9:24 a.m. on Lake Road, Town of Blanchard. The signs had been cut off and removed.

●  Criminal damage to property was reported at 11:22 a.m. on County F, Town of Blanchard. Two residences had their mailboxes damaged and fire number signs spray-painted black.

●  A domestic dispute was reported at 12:51 p.m. on County F, Town of Blanchard.

●  A man reported finding spent rifle shell cases on his property near his barn at 5:16 p.m. on County F, Town of Fayette. He later called back to report he found out why the shell cases were there and that no response was needed.

●  David A. Voigt, 53, Naperville, Illinois, was cited for speeding at 5:19 p.m. on County W, Town of Shullsburg.

●  Andrew J. Snyder, 42, Davenport, Iowa, was cited for speeding at 6:17 p.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Elk Grove.

●  Eric B. Dell, 23, Platteville, was cited for speeding at 6:36 p.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Seymour.

●  A deputy responded to check welfare at 6:49 p.m. on Madison Street in Blanchardville.

●  A deputy responded to check welfare at 7:38 p.m. on Sheldon Street in Gratiot. Gratiot First Response and the Gratiot Fire Department assisted. A 17-year-old had gotten into an argument with their mother, walked away and hadn’t returned after more than three hours. The teen was later located and was fine.
