● 10:37 a.m. A deputy responded to Mayer RD, Wayne Township for an abandoned vehicle.
● 10:39 a.m. A deputy responded to USH 151, Belmont Township for a traffic hazard.
● 10:53 a.m. Southwest Health EMS responded to CTH XX, Belmont Township for a medical emergency.
● 2:11 p.m. A deputy responded to Cub Hollow RD, Gratiot Township for livestock on the roadway.
● 3:07 p.m. A deputy responded to CTH W, New Diggings Township for a 911 misdial.
● 3:50 p.m. A deputy responded to E Center ST in the Village of South Wayne for a hit and run.
● 6:40 p.m. A deputy responded to Galena ST in the Village of Benton for a citizen assist.
● 6:54 p.m. A deputy responded to CTH P, Shullsburg Township for traffic control.
● 10:31 p.m. David R Nagel, 21, Madison reported striking a deer on USH 151, Belmont Township. No injuries were reported and Nagel’s 2020 Kia was towed from the scene with severe damage.
On Sept. 7:
● 12:20 a.m. Emanuel N Williams, 50, Beaver Dam was cited for Operating without a License on USH 151, Belmont Township.
● 1:51 a.m. A deputy responded to CTH A, Argyle Township for livestock on the roadway.
● 2:28 a.m. A deputy responded to STH 80, Grant County for a check welfare.
● 5:25 a.m. Tina P Woods, 32, Shullsburg reported striking a deer on STH 11, New Diggings Township. Woods’ 2011 GMC received minor damage and was driven from the scene.
● 5:51 a.m. A deputy responded to Mink Farm Rd, Wayne Township for a 911 misdial.
● 9:51 a.m. A deputy responded to Ames Rd, Darlington Township to assist with a vehicle unlock.
● 1:53p.m. A deputy responded to USH 151, Belmont Township for a motorist assist.
● 3:13p.m. A deputy responded to W Estey St, City of Shullsburg for an animal problem.
● 4:20 p.m. Lafayette County EMS responded to Division St, City of Darlington for a medical emergency.
● 7:12p.m.Deputies responded to W High St, City of Shullsburg for a disorderly conduct. As a result, Kevin C Humphrey, 33, Shullsburg was arrested for Felony Bail Jumping, Disorderly Conduct and Endangering Safety by use of a Dangerous Weapon. Humphrey was transported to the Lafayette County Jail where he remains in custody.
● 7:45p.m. A deputy responded to Ferndale Rd, Willow Springs Township for an animal problem.
● 2:13p.m. A deputy responded to N Judgement St, City of Shullsburg for a citizen assist.
On Sept. 8:
● 2:46 a.m. Deputies responded to CTH XX, Belmont Township for a one vehicle rollover. Brooklyn R Elliott, 25, Belmont was traveling eastbound on CTH XX when she lost control of her vehicle, causing the vehicle to exit the roadway, enter the ditch and roll over several times. Elliott’s 2008 Chevrolet received severe damage and was towed from the scene. Southwest Health EMS assisted on scene. Elliot was transported to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries. Elliot was charged with Operating while Intoxicated (1st), Failure to Keep Vehicle under Control and Inattentive Driving.
● 4:17 a.m. A deputy responded to Holland Rd, Belmont Township for livestock on the roadway.
● 5:59a.m.BelmontEMS responded to Belmont St, Village of Belmont for a medical emergency.
● 9:19 a.m. Shullsburg EMS responded to E High St, City of Shullsburg for a medical emergency.
● 4:12 p.m. Lafayette County EMS responded to Washington St, City of Darlington for a medical emergency.
● 4:41 p.m. A deputy responded to River Bend Rd, Argyle Township for a restraining order violation. As a result, Amanda A Chapin, 49, Monroe was arrested for a Restraining Order Violation. Chapin was transported to the Lafayette County Jail where she remains in custody.
● 5:44 p.m. A deputy responded to STH 126, Belmont Township for a traffic hazard.
● 6:08 p.m. Lafayette County EMS responded to Cub Hollow Rd, Darlington Township for a medical emergency. Deputies assisted on scene.
● 8:55 p.m. A deputy responded to Blackhawk Rd, Monticello Township for livestock on the roadway.
● 8:57 p.m. Lafayette County EMS responded to E Catherine St, City of Darlington for a medical emergency.
On Sept. 9
● 12:23 a.m. A deputy responded to N Galena ST in the Village of South Wayne for a parking problem.
● 1:55 a.m. Deputies responded to CHT G, Willow Springs Township for check welfare.
● 6:58 a.m. A deputy responded to Ollie Bell RD, Benton Township for suspicious activity.
● 9:40 a.m. Lafayette County EMS responded to W Catherine ST in the City for a medical emergency. Darlington Police and deputies assisted on scene.
● 10:10 a.m. A deputy responded to CTH N, Wiota Township for livestock on the roadway.
● 3:57 p.m. A deputy responded to E Main ST in the Village of Benton for a traffic complaint.
● 5:49 p.m. Brianna L Bielski, 19, Woodstock, IL was cited for Speeding on CTH P, Gratiot Township.
● 8:58 p.m. A deputy responded to W Union St in the City of Shullsburg for a 911 misdial.
● 11:47 p.m. A deputy responded to Whiteside RD, Wiota Township for a 911 misdial.
On Sept.10:
● 1:24 a.m. Johnny L Reed, 42, Platteville was cited for Operating after Suspension on Sunnydale RD, Belmont Township.
● 2:53 a.m. Brian G Sutter, 39, Dubuque, IA was cited for Failure to stop at a Stop Sign on CTH G, Belmont Township.
● 4:27 a.m. A deputy responded to CTH W, Benton Township for a traffic hazard.
● 5:22 a.m. Deputies responded to W Main ST in the Village of Benton to assist Platteville Police.
● 7:20 a.m. A deputy responded to Faymont RD, Fayette Township for a one vehicle accident.
● 9:04 a.m. Sheldon M Hendrickson, 84, Darlington reported striking a deer on CTH M, Wiota Township. No injuries were reported and Hendrickson’s 2020 Ford received moderate damage and was driven from the scene.
● 9:58 a.m. Gratiot First and Fire and Green County EMS responded to Noble ST in the Village for a two vehicle accident. Joshua L Ladow, 37, Gratiot was traveling east on STH 11 in his 2002 Chevrolet, while Troy E Pokoj, 58 and his wife Rhonda J Pokoj, 58, both of Apple River, IL were behind Ladow also traveling east. Ladow attempted to turn right onto Noble Street. Pokoj did not see Ladow signal, and believed the two lane road had started. Pokoj merged into what he thought was the right lane and struck Ladow as he turned right. Ladow was uninjured and his vehicle received moderate damage. Mr. Pokoj received minor injury and was transported to the ER. His wife Rhonda was uninjured. Their 2006 Chevy received moderate damage and was towed from the scene. Troy Pokoj was cited for failure to yield the right of way.
● 11:02 a.m. A deputy responded to STH 11, Gratiot Township for a vehicle unlock.
● 11:05 a.m. A deputy responded to STH 23, Willow Springs Township for criminal damage.
