Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON — On June 8:

♦  A disabled vehicle was reported at 1:22 a.m. on U.S. 151 in Kendall Township.

♦  A deputy responded at 9:56 a.m. to County N, Wiota Township, for a check welfare.

♦  A deputy assisted with traffic control at 10:42 a.m. on Wisconsin 11 in Shullsburg.

♦  A disabled vehicle was reported at 1:31 p.m. on County DD in Gratiot Township.

♦  A hit-and-run was reported at 3:27 p.m. on Wis. 11 in Shullsburg Township.

♦  Livestock on the road was reported at 4:59 p.m. on W-P Road in Monticello Township.

♦  An ATV complaint was reported at 6:28 p.m. on County G in Willow Springs Township.

♦  A civil dispute was reported at 6:37 p.m. on Crawford Lane in Benton Township.

♦  A deputy assisted with a vehicle unlock at 6:56 p.m. on Wis. 81 in Darlington Township. Darlington Police assisted.

♦  A suspicious vehicle was reported at 6:59 p.m. on Burr Oak Road in Belmont Township.

♦  A threat to injure complaint was reported at 8:06 p.m. on Wildcat Road in Darlington Township.

On June 9:

♦  Suspicious activity was reported at 12:05 a.m. on County F in Fayette Township.

♦  Darlington Police responded at 12:54 a.m. on Wis. 81 in Darlington for an alarm.

♦  An accident was reported at 7:35 a.m. on Holland Road in Kendall Township.

♦  A deputy responded at 10:46 a.m. to East Main Street in Shullsburg for a check welfare.

♦  A parking problem was reported at 1:05 p.m. on North Mound Avenue in Belmont.

♦  An animal problem was reported at 1:17 p.m. on South Henry Street in Shullsburg.

♦  Suspicious activity was reported at 7:16 p.m. on North Judgement Street in Shullsburg.

♦  Tyler F. L. Humphrey, 30, Argyle, was arrested for disorderly conduct, strangulation and suffocation, false imprisonment and intimidating a victim at 9:14 p.m. on County Y in Wiota Township. Humphrey was transported to the Lafayette County Jail, where he was booked and remains in custody.

♦  Livestock on the road was reported at 9:35 p.m. on County F in Willow Springs Township.

♦  Jackson P. Berra, 22, Genoa, was cited for speeding at 10:17 p.m. on Wis. 81, Darlington Township.

♦  Livestock on the road was reported at 10:50 p.m. on Wis. 23 in Willow Springs Township.

On June 10:

♦  Suspicious activity was reported at 8:30 a.m. on County Y in Wiota Township.

♦  A deputy responded at 10:17 a.m. to West Pleasant Street in South Wayne for a check welfare.

♦  A deputy responded at 11:42 a.m. to County F, Willow Springs Township, for a check welfare.

♦  A traffic hazard was reported at 2:10 p.m. on Wis. 11 in New Diggings Township. 

♦  Brian S. Niedermeier, 26, Brodhead, was cited for operating after suspension at 6:33 p.m. on Wis. 11, Gratiot Township.

♦  A disabled vehicle was reported at 7:07 p.m. on Wis. 11, Wayne Township.

On June 11:

♦  A deputy assisted a citizen at 11 a.m. on Wis. 78 in Argyle Township.

♦  Harassment was reported at 1:01 p.m. on County Y in Wiota Township.

♦  A deputy assisted with a vehicle unlock at 4:04 p.m. on Wis. 81 in Darlington Township.

♦  Zachary J. Pitts, 24, Potosi, was cited for speeding at 4:45 p.m. on County W, White Oak Springs Township.

♦  A domestic dispute was reported at 5:15 p.m. on Meier Road in Wayne Township. Steven T. Czechowski Jr., 27, South Wayne, was arrested for battery and domestic disorderly conduct. Czechowski was transported to the Lafayette County Jail where he remains in custody. Justin A. Lockwood, 34, and Tara A. McCarthy-Lockwood, 33, both of South Wayne were cited for disorderly conduct. 

♦  Suspicious activity was reported at 7:45 p.m. on Mason Street in Blanchardville.

♦  Suspicious activity was reported at 9:55 p.m. on Leahy Road in Shullsburg Township.


Green County Sheriff

MONROE — On June 8:

♦  Timothy J. Schwarz, 32, Brodhead, was arrested at 10:34 a.m. at the Probation/Parole Office in Monroe after a hold was placed on him by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections — Probation and Parole. Schwarz was transported to the Green County Jail, where he was turned over to jail staff without incident.

♦  Deputies arrested Chad A. Davis, 31, Brooklyn, was arrested at 3:28 p.m. at the Probation/Parole Office in Monroe after a hold was placed on him by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections — Probation and Parole. Davis was transported to the Green County Jail, where he was turned over to jail staff without incident.

On June 9:

♦  Makayla J. Krueger, 22, Mount Horeb, was arrested for operating while under the influence of alcohol (first offense) at 2:56 a.m. in the N6800 block of Wis. 69. Krueger was also cited for possession of THC, possession of drug paraphernalia, operating without insurance and driving with a defective tail light. Krueger was released pending court.

♦  Joshua Slagoski, 37, Belleville, was arrested at a residence at 1:03 p.m. in the W3200 block of Daytonwood Road, Town of Exeter. Slagoski was arrested on a warrant that was issued by the Wisconsin Department of Community Corrections. Slagoski was jailed.

♦  Connar S. Koch, 22, Monroe, was arrested for possession of THC (felony) and possession of drug paraphernalia at 9:12 p.m. in the N7100 block of Wis. 69. Koch was jailed pending court. The Green County K-9 Unit assisted with the investigation.
