DARLINGTON — On Feb. 9:
● Kristofer A. Szempruch, 42, Mineral Point, was cited for possession of THC and speeding at 11:32 p.m. on County O, Town of Seymour.
On Feb. 10:
● An erratic driver was reported at 1:33 p.m. on U.S. 151, Town of Belmont.
● A deputy responded for a vehicle unlock at 5:05 p.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Darlington.
● Jonah L. Schoessow-Holmes, 18, Portage, was cited for speeding at 7:05 p.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Darlington.
● Nicholas E. Landon, 35, Lancaster, was arrested on a Lafayette County warrant at 8:19 p.m. by the Grant County Sheriff’s Office. He was transported to the Lafayette County Jail. He was jailed.
On Feb. 11:
● A deputy responded to check welfare at 9:39 a.m. on West Main Street in Benton.
● A deputy responded for traffic control at 10:31 a.m. on County XX, Town of Belmont.
● Harassment was reported at 2:29 p.m. on County W, Town of New Diggings.
● Katy A. Schafer, 22, Montfort, was cited for no vehicle insurance at 5:40 p.m. on West Mound Road, Town of Belmont.
● Livestock on the roadway was reported at 8:11 p.m. on County G, Town of Argyle.
On Feb. 12:
● A deputy responded for an accident at 12:30 a.m. on South Cody Street in Cuba City.
● A deputy assisted Platteville police at 1:39 a.m. on West Mound View Avenue in Belmont.
● Marcus P. Gilberts Jr., 30, Darlington, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct and aggravated battery at 2:51 a.m. on Riverside Road, Town of Wiota. He was jailed.
● A 911 misdial was reported at 9:04 a.m. on East Center Street in South Wayne.
● A deputy responded for a vehicle unlock at 6:02 p.m. on West Oates Street in Shullsburg.
On Feb. 13:
● Jacob D. Ferguson, 19, Monroe, was arrested on a charge of operating while intoxicated at 2:48 a.m. on County G, Town of Fayette. He was released to a responsible party. He was also cited for underage consumption of alcohol. Two minor male passengers, ages 16 and 17 of Monroe, were also cited for underage consumption of alcohol.
● A deputy responded for a hit-and-run at 10:04 a.m. on Center Drive Road, Town of Elk Grove.
● A deputy responded for a 911 misdial at 1:22 p.m. on Crabtree Corner Road, Town of Benton.
● Lilly G. Czarnecki, 20, East Troy, was cited for no proof of vehicle insurance at 3:39 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Benton.
● Laura L. Gundlach, 53, Shullsburg, was cited for driving after suspension and no vehicle insurance at 11:08 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Gratiot.
On Feb. 14:
● A deputy assisted Iowa County Sheriff’s Office with a juvenile problem at 8:42 a.m. on County DDD, Iowa County.
● An animal problem was reported at 4:50 p.m. on County W, Town of Shullsburg and at 6:58 p.m. on 3rd Avenue in Benton.
● A restraining order violation was reported at 6:01 p.m. on Riverbend Road, Town of Wayne.
● Livestock on the roadway was reported at 9:11 p.m. on Faymont Road, Town of Darlington.

● Disorderly conduct was reported at 4:15 a.m. on County G, Town of Belmont.
● An injured animal on the roadway was reported at 7:34 a.m. on County W, Town of Benton.
● Renna M. Johnson, 19, Fennimore, was cited for speeding at 7:17 p.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Seymour.
● A traffic hazard was reported at 11:27 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Gratiot.

● Truancy was reported at 7:25 a.m. on Faymont Road, Town of Darlington.
● Suspicious activity was reported at 10:38 a.m. on Wis. 78, Town of Argyle.
● A 911 misdial was reported at 10:56 a.m. on Spruce Street in Argyle and at 4:55 p.m. on R and K Road, Town of Darlington.
● A traffic complaint was reported at 12:08 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Gratiot. Shullsburg police assisted.
● A deputy responded for a minor one-vehicle accident at 3:48 p.m. on County I, Town of New Diggings. Benton police assisted.
● A deputy assisted Darlington police with a check welfare at 4:20 p.m. on Clay Street in Monroe.
● A deputy assisted Darlington police at 9:52 p.m. on Wis. 23 in Darlington.
● Dalton L. Wendler, 22, Brodhead, was arrested on a first-offense charge of operating while intoxicated at 10:34 p.m. on County D, Town of Wayne. He was also cited for speeding. He was released to a responsible party.

BRODHEAD — For the week of Feb. 6 to Feb. 12, police performed 22 security checks, 15 citizen assists, 11 assists of other agencies, six follow-ups to incidents, eight vehicle registration and 12 traffic stops; responded to 23 calls for service and reported four EMS calls, two 911 or BEEMS (Brodhead Elderly Emergency Monitoring System) calls and two fire calls. No detox or mental health transports were reported.
On Feb. 6:
● A dog running at large was reported at 2:37 p.m. in the 500 block of 12th Street. The dog returned.
● A St. Louis, Missouri man, 32, was cited for speeding and no proof of vehicle insurance at 6:09 p.m. in the 1900 block of East 9th Avenue.
● A juvenile was cited for possession of marijuana at 2:03 p.m. Feb. 7 in the 2500 block of West 5th Avenue.
On Feb. 8:
● An Orfordville man, 41, was cited for driving after suspension at 7:55 a.m. in the 300 block of East 8th Avenue.
● A Juda woman, 20, was cited for unsafe backing and non-registration of auto at 2:01 p.m. in the 900 block of 17th Street.
● Disorderly conduct was reported at 4:18 p.m. in the 2400 block of 1st Center Avenue. Warnings were issued.
● A traffic complaint was reported at 7:12 p.m. in the 1700 block of East 9th Avenue.
On Feb. 10:
● A Brodhead man, 49, was contacted by police on a warrant for failure to appear at 5:29 p.m. in the 500 block of 6th Street. An updated citation was issued.
● A dog at large was reported at 10:15 p.m. in the 1600 block of 1st enter Avenue.
On Feb. 11:
● Suspicious activity was reported at 12:53 a.m. in the 900 block of West Exchange Street. Everything was found to be okay.
● A disabled vehicle on the roadway was reported at 8:22 p.m. in the 100 block of 1st Center Avenue. Police assisted owner moving vehicle to nearby parking lot.
On Feb. 12:
● A Brodhead man, 76, was cited for theft at 11:09 a.m. in the 1600 block of 1st Center Avenue.
● Suspicious activity was reported at 4:09 p.m. in the 1000 block of 21st Street.
