Green County Sheriff

On December 4:

● At 6:42 p.m., Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for operating left of center in the 400 block of West Coates Avenue, in the Village of Monticello. Investigation resulted in the operator, Debra A. Dippen-Watterson, 65, of New Glarus being arrested for Operating While Under the Influence (1st-Alcohol). Watterson was further cited for Operating With a Prohibited Alcohol Concentration (Greater than .15) and for Operating Left of Center. Watterson was released to a responsible party pending court.

On December 5:

● At approximately 11:08 a.m., Deputies responded to the Green County probation and Parole Office and placed Lucas A. Noble, 26, of Monroe, under arrest for a Probation Hold. Lucas was transported to the Green County Jail where he will be held.

On December 5:

● At 7:53 a.m., deputies responded to a car vs mailbox in the W3100 block of Aebly Rd., in the Town of Monroe. Aleigh D. Zettle, age 18, of rural Monroe, was traveling south when she lost control of the vehicle on the ice/snow covered road. The vehicle entered the west ditch and collided with a mailbox. Aleigh reported wearing her seatbelt and was not injured in the collision. Aleigh’s silver 2006 Pontiac Vibe sustained functional damage to the front, hood, and windshield; there was no airbag deployment. Aleigh was able to drive the vehicle from the scene.

● At 2:56 p.m., deputies responded to Probation and Parole, 2841 6th St., City of Monroe, for a Probation & Parole warrant arrest. Trevor L. Martin, age 30, had a Probation & Parole warrant for his arrest. Trevor was transported to the jail without incident.

● At 3:18 p.m. deputies were advised Michelle M Winder, 25, Freeport, was currently at the Probation & Parole office, 2841 6th St in the City of Monroe, had a warrant for her arrest.  The warrant was confirmed through Waukesha County.  She was transported to the Green County Jail where she was turned over to jail staff without incident.

On December 6:

● At 1:39 p.m., Deputies along with New Glarus Police Department, New Glarus Fire Department, and New Glarus EMS responded to the intersection of Old Madison Road and State Highway 69, in the Town of New Glarus for a two-vehicle crash with injuries. Investigation revealed that a vehicle operated by Amy L. Holen, 54, of Monroe, was traveling southbound when a vehicle traveling eastbound on Old Madison Road and pulled out in front of her causing the two vehicles to collide. Holen reported wearing her seatbelt and the airbags did not deploy. Holen sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to an area hospital for treatment. Holen’s vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene. The second vehicle was operated by Alexander M. Bobrowicz, 22, of New Glarus. Bobrowixz reported no injuries, was wearing his seatbelt, and the airbags did not deploy. Bobrowicz’s vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.

● At 6:09 p.m., Deputies responded to the N8600 block of County Highway X, in the Town of Exeter, for a single vehicle crash. Investigation revealed a vehicle operated by Desiree Lopez-Moreno, 42, of Madison was backing out of a driveway, when the vehicle backed into the west ditch. Moreno reported no injuries, was wearing her seatbelt, and the airbags did not deploy. Moreno’s vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.

On December 7:

● At 8:14 a.m., Deputies along with Brodhead EMS responded to the intersection of 12th Street and West 2nd Avenue, in the City of Brodhead for a two-vehicle crash with injuries. Investigation revealed that a vehicle operated by Cedry C.  Fernot, 27, of Brodhead, was traveling southbound on West 2nd Avenue, when he failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with an eastbound vehicle on 12th Street. Fernot reported no injuries, was wearing his seatbelt, and the airbags did not deploy. Fernot’s vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene. The other vehicle was operated by Cynthia D. Nelson-Kundert, 72, of Brodhead. Kundert reported wearing her seatbelt and the airbags did not deploy. Kundert’s vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Kundert sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to an area hospital for treatment Investigation resulted in Fernot being cited for Fail/Improper Stop at a Stop Sign. Fernot was released pending court.

● At 8:53 a.m., Deputies responded to a residence in the N3600 block of State Highway 81, in the Town of Monroe, for the report of a subject violating a 72 hour no contact order. Investigation resulted in Shane M. Segner, 45, of Monroe, being arrested for violating the no contact order and Felony Bail Jumping. Segner was incarcerated at the Green County Jail pending court.

● At 1:08 p.m., Deputies along with Monroe Rural Fire Department responded to the W5800 block of County Highway P, in the Town of Clarno, for a single vehicle crash. Investigation revealed that a vehicle operated by Elizabeth A. Theiler, 55, of Juda was traveling westbound when she failed to negotiate a curve. The vehicle then left the roadway and collided with a culvert and a retaining wall. Theiler reported no injuries, was wearing her seatbelt, and the airbags did not deploy. Theiler’s vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene. The investigation resulted in Theiler being arrested for Operating While Under the Influence (3rd Offense). Theiler was incarcerated at the Green County Jail pending the posting of bond or an initial court appearance.

● At 5:11 p.m., Deputies along with Juda Fire Department and Green County EMS responded to the W1400 block of State Highway 11, in the Town of Spring Grove for a single vehicle crash with injuries. Investigation revealed a vehicle operated by Roy L. Henkle, 55, of Pleasant Prairie, was traveling westbound when a deer entered the roadway and collided with his vehicle. Henkle and his passenger reported wearing their seatbelts, and the airbags deployed. Henkle and his passenger sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to an area hospital for treatment. Henkle’s vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.


Lafayette County Sheriff

On November 28:

● 6:56 a.m. Zade R Jones, 22, Benton reported striking a deer on CTH I, New Diggings Township. No injuries were reported and Jones’s 2021 Kia received severe damage and was towed from the scene.

On November 29:

● 9:53 a.m. Jeffrey J Calvert, 45, Hazel Green reported striking a deer on STH 11, Gratiot Township. No injuries were reported and Calvert’s 2020 GMC received moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

● 6:59 p.m. Belmont Fire and EMS responded to CTH XX, Belmont Township for a one vehicle accident.

On November 30:

● 6:26 a.m. Gratiot First Response and Gratiot Fire responded to STH 11, Gratiot Township for a vehicle slide off. A deputy assisted.

● 5:39 p.m. Jaymee S. Thorstad, 23, South Wayne reported striking a deer on Mink Farm RD, Wayne Township. Thorstad reported no injuries. Thorstad’s 2015 Jeep received moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

On December 2:

● 2:16 a.m. A deputy responded to STH 11, Village of South Wayne for criminal damage.

● 2:14 p.m. Darlington Fire and Lafayette County EMS responded to Salty Hollow RD, Gratiot Township for a shed fire. Gratiot Fire, Shullsburg Fire, Belmont Fire, Darlington Police and deputies assisted.

● 9:08 p.m. Deputies responded to 2nd AV, Village of Benton for a disorderly dispute. As a result, Chelsea J. Robbins, 33, Shullsburg was arrested for Disorderly Conduct, Resisting Arrest, and a Probation Violation. Christopher J. Clough, 38, Benton was arrested for Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Arrest. Both Robbins and Clough were transported to Lafayette County Jail where they were booked and remain in custody. Darlington Police and Grant County Sheriff’s Office assisted. 

On December 3:

● 1:23 p.m. Cody A Trumm, 29, Boscobel reported striking a deer on CTH W, New Diggings Township. No injuries were reported and Trumm’s 2022 Chevrolet received moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

On December 4:

● 6:26 p.m. Mineral Point Fire and Mineral Point EMS responded to USH 151, Kendall Township for a one vehicle accident. Megan M. Greenfield, 21, Dodgeville was traveling on USH 151 when she struck a hay bale in the middle of the road. Greenfield reported minor injuries and was transported to the hospital. Greenfield’s 2017 Jeep received moderate damage and was towed from the scene. Iowa County Sheriff’s Office, Belmont Police, Lafayette County Highway Department, and a deputy assisted. 

On December 6:

● 9:35 p.m. Zachary J Blackwood, 20, South Wayne was arrested on a Department of Corrections warrant and transported to the Lafayette County Jail where he remains in custody.

On December 7:

● 6:30 a.m. Anya L Travis, 43, Apple River, IL reported striking a deer on CTH W, New Diggings Township. No injuries were reported and Travis’s 2018 Toyota received moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

● 1:51 p.m. A deputy responded to CTH D, Wayne Township for a one vehicle accident.

● 4:43 p.m. Gratiot Fire and First Response and Green County EMS responded to STH 11, Gratiot Township for a one vehicle rollover. Hector M Guerra, 51, Monroe was traveling westbound on STH 11 in a 1997 Ford when he attempted to pass a semi and observed an oncoming car. Guerra entered back into his designated lane when the tires grabbed the gravel and Guerra overcorrected, crossing the center line and rolling, coming to rest in the eastbound ditch. Guerra reported minor injuries but denied EMS. Guerra’s vehicle was towed from the scene with disabling damage. Guerra was cited for Failure to Keep Vehicle under Control and Operating a Vehicle without a valid Driver’s License.

On December 8:

● 10:20 a.m. Dustin J. Olson, 34, Monroe was arrested on CTH F, Blanchard Township for Bail Jumping. Olson was transported to Lafayette County Jail where he was booked and remains. 

● 11:35 a.m. Mark A. Ubersox, 41, Blanchardville was arrested on CTH F, Blanchard Township for Bail Jumping. Ubersox was transported to Lafayette County Jail where he was booked and remains.

● 9:48 p.m. Baltazar Marcos-Pablo, 22, Darlington was traveling on CTH Z Darlington Township when he lost control of his vehicle and struck a bridge. Marcos-Pablo and his passenger reported no injuries. Marcos-Pablo’s 2004 Chevrolet received disabling damage and was towed from the scene. As a result, Marcos-Pablo was cited for OWI (1st), OWL (1st), Hit and Run, and No Insurance.

On December 9:

● 12:11 a.m. A deputy responded to CTH M, Wiota Township for a vehicle in the ditch.

● 12:32 a.m. Rodan A. Lopez, 38, Darlington was cited for OWL on Mineral RD, Seymour Township. 

● 2:45 a.m. Deputies responded to W Mound View AV, Village of Belmont for a disorderly dispute. As a result, Terrance D. Nicholson, 32, SC and Ezequiel Rodriguez JR., 29, TX were both arrested for Disorderly Conduct. Both Nicholson and Rodriguez were transported to Lafayette County Jail where they were booked and later released. Platteville Police and UW Platteville Campus Police assisted.


Monroe Police

On December 10:

● At 3:37 a.m., officers arrested Yefrin E. Gutierrez Centeno, 31, Monroe, at a residence in the 2700 block of STH 69, on two (2) warrants issued by the Dane County Sheriff’s Office. Gutierrez Centeno was confined in the Green County Jail pending transfer to Dane County.

On December 15:

● At 2:43 a.m., officers were called to the intersection of STH 69 and 6th Street for a two-vehicle accident with reported injuries. The investigation indicated that a vehicle operated by Judy K. Coy, 75,  Browntown, had driven south in the northbound lane of the divided highway STH 69, from 2nd Street to 6th Street, and then tried to turn west (right) on 6th Street. The vehicle then collided with a southbound on STH 69 semi tractor trailer unit, which was on the correct side of the divided highway. This unit was driven by Derek A. Gilbertson, 38, Monroe. Coy sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported by Green County EMS. Coy’s vehicle sustained severe damages and was towed. The other unit sustained functional damage. Coy was cited for an improper right turn and was released pending a court appearance.
