Kelcey R. Fike, age 21, of Kearney, NE, formerly of Monroe, Wisconsin, died Tuesday, June 17, 2008 at her residence.

Kelcey was born March 26, 1987 in Tucson, Arizona, to Randy and Mary Jo (Johnson) Fike. She graduated from Monroe High School in Wisconsin in 2005. She moved to Kearney in June 2006. Kelcey was a cashier Bob's Superstore in Kearney. Kelcey loved animals, music, dance, and performance arts. She was a spirited and beautiful young lady, who was loved dearly by her family and friends.

Surviving relatives are her parents, Randy and Mary Jo Fike of Kearney, NE; sister, Nikki and Richard Chepovsky of Pueblo, CO; brothers, Joshua and Karen Fike of Redwood City, CA, John Fike of Menomonie, WI; grandmother, Bernetta Johnson of Omaha, NE; nephews, Ryan and Kyler Chepovsky of Pueblo, CO; loving friend, Alex Young of Kearney, NE; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Kelcey was preceded in death by her grandparents, Claud and Opha Fike; grandfather, Dr. John A. Johnson, and cousin, Becky Brewer.

Memorial service will be 2:30 p.m. Friday, June 20, 2008 at the First Lutheran Church in Kearney with Rev. Roy Rasmussen officiating. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, June 21, 2008 at the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Omaha. Rev. James Irwin will be officiating. Memorials are planned to the Nebraska Children's Home, Kearney Humane Society, and the Monroe Arts Center in Monroe, Wisconsin.
