BROOKLYN - Kay Flood-Ace age 80 passed away peacefully Monday, September 5, 2016 at St. Elizabeth's Manor, Footville WI, after a long illness. She was born on April 12, 1936 on the farm of her grandparents in the township of Mt. Vernon. She was the daughter of Miles and Marion (Booth) Kleinsmith. She graduated from Evansville High School, class of 1954. On July 2nd, 1955 Kay was united in marriage to Thomas Flood of Brooklyn WI at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Evansville. They spent their lives building their farm and family. Kay enjoyed gardening and had beautiful flowers. She also enjoyed puzzles, bird watching, singing and Ice cream. She loved her Children and Grandchildren. She was a strong woman of faith and prayer. She held many positions within the church. Kay in recent years was remarried to Wayne Ace of Belleville WI. Kay is survived by her husband Wayne, daughters Christy Coffey of Brooklyn, Angela (Danny) Mueller of Albany and Laurie (Tim) Klitzman of Evansville. 6 Grandchildren, Josh Brzezinski, Sarah (Jonathan) Klein, Jennifer (Michael) Miller, Justin Mueller and Ericka Mueller, Korie (Ross) Cantwell. 3 Great-Grandchildren, Tre and David Miller and Korbin Brzezinski. A sister Ann (Jim) Merrill of Evansville WI and a brother Miles (Sue) Kleinsmith of Manitowish Waters WI.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Friday September 9, 2016 at Ward Funeral Home, 130 S 5TH St. Evansville WI. with Reverend Jennifer Brzezinski officiating. Burial will follow in Jug Prairie Cemetery, Brooklyn Township. Visitation will be held before the service from 9 a.m. until the time of service on Friday at the funeral home.
