Joanne Marie Hicks age 72 of Monroe, WI entered her heavenly home on March 25 2018. Joanne was born on June 18 1945 she was the oldest of three children, daughter of James and Arlene Flack. After graduation she met Edward Hicks and was married in July 1962. They had four children together and farmed in Warren IL. Joanne loved to ride her horses and was very passionate about all animals big or small and most of all being with family and friends. Daughter Sherri Fiduccia of Monroe will carry her love for horses and of all animals. Daughter Shelly Walker of Jefferson Or. Will carry her love for animals and family gatherings. Son Scott Hicks of Salem OR will carry her love of boating on lake Coeur D Alene in Idaho. Son Brian Hicks of Genoa IL will carry her love of speed, Brian has been drag racing since he was 16 and she loved to go to the track to watch him. Joanne was also a grandmother to Adam Chabucos of Monroe WI, Amber Eck of Genoa IL, Martina Hicks of Coeur D Alene ID. Great grandmother to Nora Eck Genoa IL. Joanne Hicks is survived by her children Sherri (Jimmy), Shelley (John), Scott (Karla), Brian (Jill) her grandchildren Adam, Amber, Martina and great grandchild Nora. Sister Betty Flack of Rockford IL and Brother Jimmy (Kathy) Flack of Scio OR. a special friend Tanya Hicks of Coeur D Alene ID. She was preceded in death by her parents Jim and Arlene Flack and a nephew Chad Flack. She will be missed dearly by her family. We know you are at peace now and we all love you mom. Cremation has taken place and a family service will be held at a later date.
