Jamie G. Beverley, age 51, of Madison, formerly of Monroe, passed away, after a long courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by loved ones, on Monday, July 15, 2013 at his home. He was born on March 13, 1962 in Freeport, IL the son of Robert and Ellen (Moyer) Beverley. Jamie was a 1981 graduate of Monroe High School.

Jamie and Kristi Stroede were married on August 23, 2010 in Monroe.

Jamie was employed by Swiss Colony. He enjoyed Nascar, football, being outdoors and spending time with family and friends. He had 2 beloved dogs, Harley & Maddie.

He is survived by his wife, Kristi of Madison; father, Robert (Pat) Beverley of Monroe; daughter, Sarah (Luke Mayberry) Foley of Monticello; brothers, Todd (Judy) Beverley of Apopka, FL; Robert Beverley of New Port Ritchie, FL; sister, Terri (Mikel) McGuire of Beloit; 3 grandchildren, ex-wife, Renee Wiesenberg, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

He was predeceased by his mother, and nephew Matthew Moyer.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 19, 2013 at Shriner-Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home 1455 Mansion Dr., and 18th Ave; with Rev. Katie Voigt officiating.

Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
