Helen R. Wesenberg, age 94 of Monroe, Wisconsin, died Monday, January 18, 2010 at Pleasant View Nursing Home. She was born April 13, 1915 in Portage, WI, the daughter of Gustavus and Mary (Heiking) Selbach.
Helen and Roy W. Wesenberg were married on September 20, 1942 in Horicon, WI. Helen was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Monroe, American Legion Auxiliary and Women of the Moose #599.
Surviving are her children, William (Renee) Wesenberg of Lake Mills, Robert (Cheri) Wesenberg of Monroe, Darlene (C. George) Rzezotarski of Milwaukee, Gary (Kathy) Wesenberg and Jean (Frank) Barg of Madison; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband and 8 siblings.
A visitation will be held from noon until the time of funeral service at 1 p.m. Saturday, January 23, 2010 at Shriner-Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home in Monroe with Pastor John Tabaka officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Monroe.
